I was going through the alpha files at the Mecca of Education and found that we have a kid named "Roger Welfare" on the roster. Considering the demographics of our school, this is hilarious!

That stinks.

I think that for the most part it is the first names that are sad b/c the parent chose them. With last names they don't really have a say in the matter.

I wouldn't call them weird, they are just unusual.

Raul Eduardo Esparza and Manoel Felciano. Both are incredibly beautiful and original.

I've heard of twins with the names Ima and Ura. Their last name is Pig. I'm not sure if that one is true.

My friend's grandmother was named Ima June Rose (I think that one's pretty)

My HS principal had a daughter and she is named Ginger Rail

My mom met a realtor named Harry Bauls

I met someone whose last name is Bridge. They named their daughter Brooke Lynn

I don't understand why parents would do that... I would hate them.

I had a sub in 5th grade named Harry Dick. I'm not joking.
Also, I reffed for a while in elementary school track, and there was a boy named Nick Goodenough. Not Mr. Right. Just Mr. Goodenough.
*bows* Thank you.

"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?" "Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good." He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?" "Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women." "My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much."
