I also live in San Diego. Interesting, I was just having this same conversation with a friend a couple of days ago about how they seem to "target" you as you walk out the Target doors. Sometimes it's a little creepy as they fight for your eye contact. Other times it's just annoying as I just want to go home.

Nor have I, but then again, we have not shopped at Target since this whole rigamarole began

The same reason there's a disclaimer on DVDs saying that the views expressed in the commentary don't reflect those of the studio. It's a safety net for them- they can't be accused of being for or against any particular organization or group, and it also absolves them of responsibility if the group expresses a view that may offend.

In this case, I'm not sure I agree with the ruling. It's Target's property and if customers were feeling harassed or the flow of traffic was impeded, it's certainly within their right to tell them to leave.
