Posted: 2/19/06 at 6:13pmThe white strips worked for me, but it bothers me that they only cover the front few teeth. I had a really big smile and most of my teeth show, so I wanted them ALL to be whitened.

The latest electric toothbrush from Oral-B is so awesome.
If ya don't mind spending a lot of money for gauranteed, permanent results, there's always the Zoom 2 or, better yet and the best, Britesmile dental procedures (which are totally painless/comforatable). Your teeth will be "shades" whiter, and it lasts for years! :)

In the 1700s, the aristocracy in Europe used to gargle with their own urine, because it contained whitening elements that made their teeth look great!
Today, we know this is ammonia... which is why all the enamel was eaten off of their teeth by the time they were 30.
...And no, I'm not joking.
But I don't recommend it. I've had my teeth whitened in a dentist's office and it wasn't as expensive as I'd heard it would be.... and no whitening treatment, professional or otherwise, will last forever. You have to maintain it regularly.

I used a pro kit from my dentist office, which consisted of plastic retainer type things that I had to get made from a mold of my teeth and then a gel I put in them. Wore them everynight for like 7 days, and there was a VERY VERY dramatic difference.
Look into it! Cost me like $200 initially, but its lasted me about 3 years.
