I know this sounds completely awful, but all that's going through my head as I'm watching this concession is "he and his wife are both nice looking people. How did they have 5 such funny looking kids?"

I am honored to say that Santorum made his concession speech in my city. It was a fine, bright moment in my life to watch his daughter devastatedly press her head against her father's shoulder, American Girl doll in her arms, as her father comfortingly patted her on the head as if to say "It's okay, sweetie, Daddy's presidential hopes are down the tube but I'm going to go make even MORE money somewhere else."

His speech was surprisingly gracious. He still looks like a snake to me, but hey, at least, the snake's out of office.
"I can't figure out what kind of life this is, comedy or tragedy, I just know it's showbiz. And what if I don't agree with the lines I have to read? They don't pay me enough, the way I see it."

Yes, Sueleen, because we all know that his child was completely sincere in her sorrow for her fathe'rs loss. She was too young o eve nknow what was going on. Believe me, I feel very badly for all of his children. Not just because their father lost, but because...well, he's their father. Poor kids.

Geek, so by saying "It was a fine, bright moment in my life to watch his daughter devastatedly press her head against her father's shoulder, American Girl doll in her arms, as her father comfortingly patted her on the head", you actually meant, "Oh I felt so bad for those kids. I know their Father is a bastard, but that little girl only knows that her Daddy lost something really important to him. The man who tucks her in at night has had a major blow and since she does not know the adult things that go on in his life I feel so sorry for her." Is that kind of what you meant?
