Clowns are pure evil. There's nothing remotely cute about their make up or "tricks" or any of that. If I'm within ten feet of one, I head in the oppositie direction!

*twitches violently* I saw It by Steven(sp?)King in the 3rd grade. Bad idea. I've been afraid of clowns ever since. And as I was skimming this page I saw the clown from It, and omg- I actually screamed. Now my mom is panicing, lol. Damn it, I'm scared now *twitch*

I saw a clip of IT on TV when I was 6. All I remember about it was a close-up of IT that faded into an image of a coffin. That was all of IT that I care to see...
But I must agree about Cirque du Soleil clowns being non-threatening. Why do you suppose that is?

I dispise clowns! They creep me out a lot!. I rather see a pathetic magician than a clown with all that makeup, wigs, stupid tricks, etc. Finally, people who understand my fear. i hope you don't faint or something, Princeton.
