MLE just reminded me that it's 2 months until Christmas- which means it's 2 months until I get to go on my trip to NYC with my friends!
So, Anthony Rapp was doing a signing here in SC today, but I was unable to go, and I was really disappointed about that... but then one of my amazing friends (without my knowledge) went to the signing and got Anthony to sign something for me, and my friend had it personalized with the nickname he always calls me. It was so sweet of him to do, and he absolutely didn't have to, and it just made my night to know that he did.
The only good thing that happened to me today was getting Row E, Center Ochestra seats for Grey Gardens on a Saturday night in November. But I'm happy about that. We have to be grateful sometimes for small gifts.
Oh, and my son just came over and kissed me for no reason. That's even better than getting the tickets.
1) I finally found a black leotard for my Halloween costume.
2) I had psychology today, and I love that class.
3) I had lunch with my boyfriend today; that's always good.
I was able to get the bird **** out of my new suede jacket!
That's the good part of the bad day posted on the other thread...

I found a package on my doorstep this morning. It was from the NY Times and was a really big coffee cup with Metropolitan Diary/Metro Section on it.
I had a piece published a couple of months ago and now they sent me a cool cup .
I also had a letter published in 'Poets and Writers' magazine which looks great in glossy print.

I was able to introduce three good friends to the wonderfulness that is Roscoe's Chicken~N~Waffles.
And then we got to spend the day at Huntington Gardens, which is one of my favorite places. The weather was perfect, the company congenial and the beauty as humbling and awe-inspiring as ever.

I got tickets today for a Spring Break trip to NYC in March! I'm so excited! My best friend and I have always (well since like a year ago when she became fascinated with NYC, I've loved it for a while) wanted to go to NYC together and we finally get to go! Whoo! The countdown is on.

Also after 1 year, 2 months, and 19 days (assuming I did the math right) I'm a Broadway legend. Yay?
Some friends who were stationed in Iraq came home today after a year away. Happy to see them safe and sound.
I saw Anthony Rapp at Newark airport.
I also rode in a plane the size of a small school bus. I am a big girl. It was not fun. At all.
I must admit that nothing good has happened to me since this thread started. Actually, even before then, but who's counting?
10/25/06 -- I got a 98% on the test that I didn't even study for
10/26/06 -- I got to have lunch with one of my best friends
10/27/06 -- Nothing yet, but the day has only just begun!
Ivan's grandparents gave us $1200.
Woo.
I had an AWESOME job interview yesterday afternoon, and last night during my show, I nailed this one oboe solo that I've been having trouble with. Yay!
