Posted: 8/20/09 at 2:51pmKringas is nothing. My sister's friend has one for her goose lamp. I'm serious. The goose's name is Rahul, and he likes to play the clarinet.

Posted: 8/20/09 at 2:54pmI have a facebook friend(former neighbor) who is a celebrity. She posts about everything she does all day, at least every couple of hours. Really personal stuff too. Way too much time on her hands!

Posted: 8/20/09 at 3:01pmThere's dogbook, too, but Mr. Jones is unaware (or unwilling to admit) that he is a dog.

He really ought to. He certainly gets into all kinds of crazy shenanigans.

Yes, clever you must friend Kringas when you get your computer back.
I thought about doing one for my cat, Ruby Cat, but I'm too lazy.

That's the thing. I don't want to hide everything. I'm still interested in how they are and what they're up to, I just don't need to know every quiz and game result.
You can either hide everything from one poster or you can hide posts from an application. I think the latter would work for you.
I definitely get most annoyed by the Sympathy-Baiter. My friend's ex is such a drama queen in real life, and it DEFINITELY transfers to FB.

Someone I know has been whining and whining day in and day out about the same thing. He just did it again and I had to hold back from being snarky. They don't allow that on FB!
#91re: The 12 Most Annoying Types of Facebookers
Posted: 8/20/09 at 5:32pmThey don't? My friend Doug is snarky all the time!

Directions to blocking certain people from IMing you on facebook:
1. Click on the "Friends" link at the very top of the page.
2. On the left-hand side there is a list. Click on "Friends" and the list of all your friends will appear.
3. Three buttons will appear over the list of your friends. Click on "Create New List".
4. Name the list anything you like but I don't recommend calling it "People I want to avoid" or anything like that. Call it something random like "jelly beans"
5. Start clicking on the names you want to include in this list.
6. Once you have them all click on the blue "Create List"
7. Now you have a list of all of the people who you don't wish to receive IMs from. The next step is to go down the "chat" link in the bottom right-hand corner. Click to open.
8. There you will see the list of all your friends who are online. At the top of the box are to buttons "Friend Lists" and "Settings". Click on "Friend Lists".
9. Then click on whatever you named your list. Now, rather than showing all your friends in one list the chat box will separate the friends on that list from the friends not on that list.
10. Next to the list name you will see a little green oval witha white circle inside of that. Click on that. Now, you will appear offline to anyone in that list.

The Khmer Rouge- Three friend are fans...
People sending me bunnies and cupcakes to a sweet shop.
Only one friend is a sympathy baiter. The funny thing is once I had a horrible week and I was guilty and posted 'Richard really needs to catch a break." Who responded? The Sympathy queen.
I laughed and thought 'that's bad, never again.
