Have you ever judged someone based on their purity test score? And do you think it's possible for there to be a relationship between an 86.8% and a 59.2%?

In answer to your question, FF, I think it's definitely possible for an 86.8% and a 59.2% to have a good relationship. If both of you are happy with your sex life and you're not hung up about his past experiences, what's the big deal? I'm assuming that you are somewhere between 18-30. For some people, myself included, there's a fair amount of experimentation and exploration that goes on at that age. It's not always indicative of a person's likes and desires or even what they will expect from a current partner. It could just be something that they tried once and either liked or didn't like. But now it's dragging down their score on an internet purity test. What really matters is whether or not this guy is respectful both in and out of the bedroom and whether or not you are both happy in your relationship. Hope this helps.

and frankly this test will definately score differently for those of us who started being sexually active pre-AIDS than for those who became active the last 20 some years (not all, there will be exceptions, but in general)

51.2%... the funny thing is, a year ago it would probably have been in the eighties. How times have changed...

FF, what's really important is that you both understand each others limits and are respectful of that, i.e. nobody is pressuring anybody. I don't honestly think that, if it's a relationship based on affection and compatibility (rather than physicality), it should be a huge problem.

If it takes 500 questions to see how pure I am, I'd rather stay questionably dirty.

I got confused by section 6. . . It's unclear what questions are supposed to be about girls and which are supposed to be about boys. I'm too dumb to take an internet test. Haha.

Thanks for helping me to kill some time at work. I'll try to remember to take this again after graduating from college. Heh.

On your question, I think you can make it work. Asking these questions is one of those things you may have a burning desire to ask, but you know you should just leave alone. My last boyfriend was more promiscuous than me. I got the basics from him and was upset for awhile. I don't know if I was justified to be upset, but I was. So, after that, we just agreed that I didn't need to hear about it and as long as we didn't talk about it, it was fine. It wasn't like I was pretending it didn't exist or I was mad at him for his past, but it can be hard for some people to hear how their boyfriend was just used for sex by so many people when you want to consider what you are doing to be making love and special. I think it would really hurt for the type of situation to arrive where you meet someone and they're just casual about the fact that they ****ed your guy. It's weird.

Eh! If you can find a way to be comfortable with his past and not judge him, you're fine. By the way, I am sort of assuming you are talking about his sex past rather than the few questions about drugs. . . Haha. Updated On: 8/8/07 at 11:45 AM

I cant get over that so many of you waited around for all 500 questions. I quit after 70...and didnt care anymore what my score was.

I got 97.2%. It scares me a little that each question seems to have the same weighting (0.2%), especially with some of the 'activities' on there.
