Anyone taking it this Saturday?
Can anyone who has taken it in the past give me any tips. How is it in comparison to the SAT? Thanks! :)

I thought this was a thread about the Minnelli show. I had it on 8-track.

Me too... I was in it once, performed "Arthur in the Afternoon"... I, of course, was Arthur. Fun.

I saw the title of this thread and started singing "The Money Tree" in my head.

Actually, I took the test when I was in high school (forever ago) and did very well.

Well, can't really tell you about the ACT's, but I took the old SAT's and it wasn't that bad. And I ended up with a fairly decent score, as well (1320) [OLD SAT].

Just make sure you get a lot of sleep the previous night, and make sure you use every spare moment. And if you happen to forget something, common sense.

I took the ACTs a couple years ago. I liked it more (and did better on it) than the SATs. It's hard to tell you what to expect, and it's hard to prepare for. I felt like the ACT covered more information. There was a science section and such, which I thought was more interesting than the SATs. As I recall, it was interpretive rather than knowledge-based though, so don't worry if it's not a really strong suit.

Remember your calculator (one of my friends didn't). Get lots of sleep, eat right, relax, and good luck.

Like Jess1483 I also took it a few years ago and did better on it than I did on the SAT. Don't remember much else, but I'm sure you'll do fine. Good Luck!

I am really good at math and only slightly worse at literature (both the SAT and my High School grades confirm this) but my ACT results showed the opposite result.
