I don't like Ivana either. She's very defensive.

Was anyone else as disgusted as I that $10,000 wasn't enough for Mike Piazza to appear for 1/2 hour??? Greedy much???

Yeah, 20K for a half hour appearance and they still had to negotiate his brushing his teeth. The only thing more disgusting about that episode is the idea of vanilla mint toothpaste.

Yes, I was just appalled when the agent was on the phone with him, and telling the contestants he wouldn't do it for less than $20,000, and when they asked him if they'd kiss someone, he was like, oh no, I don't think he'll do that. Guess he needs another $50,000 for that, eh?

I think the show jumped the shark last night. For two weeks in a row, Trump has not let go the person responsible for the team's failure. The whole thing smacks of producers wanting to manufacture a "shocking" twist and not staying true to the rules of the game.

Stacie J didn't seem to be the problem in this weeks task, and I was suprised he fired her. Now that she is gone they are going to have to start going at each other.

What a cop out to advertise it as "the boardroom that breaks all the rules". I was totally expecting that Ivana was gonna haul back in there and then get her ass fired even though she wasn't in the bottom 3.

Even though Stacie seemed off her rocker for Task #1, she didn't come off as frightening. Who was it (that little midget girl?) who said they were "scared for [her] life"??? I'm surprised Donald would let things go as far as they did, instead of reviewing the footage himself. After all, this means he's basing his decision solely on hearsay, and that's not right, even if the bitching against Stacie was unanimous.

And is it only me or is this group not as interesting as last season's? All the women are snarky backstabbers, and all the men (save for Raj) are just...bland. And even Raj would be bland if not for his choice of dress.

Still, I'll be tuning in next week. *sigh*

The Apprentice: Episode 3

“8 Ways to Crazy”

This week, our intrepid Billionaire wannabees received their usual early morning wakeup call from some struggling actress playing receptionist #4, and were summoned to the lobby of Trump Tower. The Donald, flanked by his usual entourag, descended the escalator, his hokey “all hail the king” trumpets blaring in the background. The task at hand: Get cranky New Yorkers all fired up over a new product, “Vanilla Mint Crest” toothpaste (sounds pretty gross) with a meager $50, 000 budget and one day to pull it off. Both teams do a pretty decent job 'creating a buzz', considering they didn't have much time and 50K won't buy you much of anything these days. Kevin drew the short straw and was crowed Project Manager for Mosaic. That brain trust threw out such stellar ideas as foaming up the Hudson River and pumping Vanilla aroma into the subway system. (Hello, 9/11 anyone?) After a failed attempt to give away a 'chance for a million dollars', they settled on Circus freaks and cold hard cash.

Speaking of freaks, Apex was all about crazy Stacie J. Nobody likes her,they all think she is a lunatic, yet they entrust her with a rather important task: Secure the product to give away at their event. That didn't go very well. Seems she either can't count or has trouble with simple physics. She brings a van to haul a truck load of paste. The fact that Maria's error in negotiating the right printing costs put them $5,000 over meant little. Oh, yeah, Apex hired NY Mets catcher Mike Piazza to scrub his pearly whites in front of a small, yet enthusiastic crowd. (Why no Yankee?)

Then it was on to the Board Room (Dum, dum dum). Everyone agreed that the Piazza event was the clear winner, but the budget overage was Apex's ticket to the board room. Project leader Elizabeth invited Maria and, no surprise, Stacie J to join her on the firing line (She's about as popular as a cold sore on prom night.) Finger-pointing and name calling ensued, not about the task, but the dangerous and wacky Stacie J. It got so ugly that Mr. Trump, in a rule breaking mood,summoned
all the women back to get their take. Turns out they are all a'scared of Miss J, fearing that her wild behavior and unstable personality threaten their very existence. Her defense was a simple one. She repeated over and over: "I'm NOT Crazy." (sounds nuts to me). Apex pleaded their case with DT and Stacie J, the loose cannon was indeed...FIRED.

I'm in the minority here, but I missed the whole Stacy J. meltdown. I thought the girls were being catty and ganging up on her. Ivana's whole thing about being so scared that she had to hide in a corner made me laugh out loud. It was all so Crucible-like. Why is it always the black people who are the problem on these reality shows? AAAARGH!!!! I swore I was not going to get addicted to "Who Wants To Be A Corporate Criminal?" this year. Damn you, NBC, DAMN YOU!!!

Back in May I came to NYC to see her in Millie and she was out!

The understaudy, Emily Rozek was really good though.

I sent a flaming email to SusanEgan.com and she (Susan Egan) me an email back and we emailed back and forth a few times.

aw that sux...i was at the stage door of her last performance and it was freakin crazy! i actually felt bad for her i didn't want to bother her so i took a couple of pix and left...yeah i sent her a few emails too and she responded to every single one she's so sweet and so nice i want to send her another email but i'm afraid she'll think i'm a stalker or something lol

Yea, I sent it to the stage door of the Marriot Marquis per the instructions on her web site. But since the show closed, she might be traveling, etc. and is behind.

I dig Pamela, although she kind of scares me. I also like Kelly.

But unlike last year, there aren't any clear-cut frontrunners. Frankly, all of them look really bad. (Especially the women.)
