SAMN is sick and has rehearsals every day for the rest of her life. But she is very excited to learn the Spanish Panic tomorrow.
"You have two kinds of shows on Broadway – revivals and the same kind of musicals over and over again, all spectacles. You get your tickets for The Lion King a year in advance, and essentially a family... pass on to their children the idea that that's what the theater is – a spectacular musical you see once a year, a stage version of a movie. It has nothing to do with theater at all. It has to do with seeing what is familiar.... I don't think the theatre will die per se, but it's never going to be what it was.... TS3 is pissed of at the school janitor. He reset my lightboard when I told him that there was a row of lights out on stage. He complaining to me that it was something that I did when I disconnected the board. I have been doing the lights for two years & disconnected it the SAME way every night. That row of lights lights didn't start going out until AFTER they remodeled the auditorium this past summer. I came to rehearsals tonight, turned it on, & turned up a fader to see NOTHING turn on. He took the manuel and I can't set the lights again without.

Dollypop is exhausted after working at his church's annual Soup and Bread supper. He's proud, though, that it raised over $600 for the local food pantry.
