I am in awe of this woman. She's so amazing.
I saw "'night, Mother" Saturday evening. She blew me away. Again: I am in awe of this woman.
Edie Falco is amazing too.

You'll have to start an Edie appreciation thread for that sort of thing, zoran.
But your Brenda appreciation was dead on and is welcome here.

Ok then. This might be a bit easy though.
What role connects Ms Blethyn with Alison Steadman?
#106re: The Brenda Blethyn Appreciation Thread
Posted: 11/16/04 at 11:56amMari, the mother in Little Voice. Alison originated the role in the original London production(which I saw) and Brenda played it on the big screen.

Wasn't easy, I had to look it up on imdb, which is essentially cheating.
Ok, what was the last play Brenda performed in before night Mother and where did it play?

You can't look it up. That disqualifies you. You can look it up to ASK, not to ANSWER. Now the next question is mine.
In what movie does she appear with Billy Bob Thornton?

Daddy And Them, which nobody has ever heard of and which I had to look up.
So for our next game, connect Brenda Blethyn to Tori Amos in six moves or less.
#114re: The Brenda Blethyn Trivia Thread
Posted: 11/17/04 at 1:09pmBrenda was born on February 20, 1946. On that same date in 1994, Tori Amos went to #1 on the UK chart with Into the Pink.

Oh please. That's not a link. The correct answer was this:
Brenda Blethyn was in A River Runs Through It with Brad Pitt
Brad Pitt was in Interview With The Vampire with Kirsten Dunst
Kirsten Dunst starred in Mona Lisa Smile, which features a cameo from Tori Amos.
