You can read about the two endings here (needless to say, the link contains spoilers):

(Scroll down to the bottom of the page.) The US cut of the film simply ended just before the UK cut did, but it does represent a significant change.
thanks so much!

Just saw it.
Awesome movie. Wish they used that UK ending.

I'm seeing it tomorrow, er, tonight and definitely nervously excited. I hate it because although I love to be scared, at the moment I don't and HATE pop out stuff. Ugh, I always know that once the movie opens I want to punch myself because I just hooked myself into seeing something that will scare me. I hope it won't be too bad...I know it sounds stupid, but I love horror movies and getting scared with friends which is fun, but I hate myself for going through the terror!
oh I hear ya C that's exactly how I am. I love going to them with a bunch of friends and screaming and than laughing and just being terrified as a group. But then I just get terrified as I did with this movie. It was weird because when I saw it I walked out and was fine and yeah there were a lot of scary moments but I wasn't horrified beyond belief. But that night I Just could not get to sleep and when I did I had the WORST nightmare of my life where I was in the cave. I am decently claustraphobic so they're being trapped was almost scarier to me than the crawler things. I woke up sweaty and shaking...it was some scary SH*T! lol But I know what you're talking about just rushing in and thinking you're tought stuff and the second the lights go down in the theater you're just like...I am such a dumbass~

Precisely! Haha, I have so much fun until later I can't shake the images and am the only one awake at 4 and can't shake the creepiness I saw. I don't really mind small spaces or anything so at least I won't have that factor to bother me, but on the commercial with the darkness and theres that weird thing behind her. Yeah its the crap like that that really makes me jolt. And the funny thing is I guarantee that although I saw it on the commercial, I will still be shaken tonight
The poster looks quite interesting, too:
I'm shocked that I haven't seen this movie yet! It opened in Germany last November and I somehow missed it completely...

Great horror flick, this one is already on dvd overhere for a few months.
A must see if you like scary movies, storyline is very stereotypical but on the other hand it has a few real nice twists.
Thanx for posting this poster guyfromgermany didn't know this one, i guess this is the international or US poster ?
Great poster but a real copycat, but then what's new lately right ?

That looks like an awesome poster, but it reminds me too much of the Silence of the Lambs cover.

C - I was just gonna say that. It's the moth's head with clothed bodies.
The movie has one of the scariest moments - with the video camera and crawler. That freaked the hell out of me.
haha one of my friends jumped so high at that part and put her hand out and it smacked me in the face lol but yeah that part was f*cked up
That was definately the most frightening part of the movie! I love it. Saw it last night and was terrified and jumping the entire time. So well done. That was my idea of a horror flick instead of the blood and gore fest that tries to gross you out rather than scare you. I did wish they kept the UK ending. It would have made sense. If there were all those bones in the caves, no one has ever made it out and why should they make it out now :)
