re: The Devil Wears Prada

I think that was in reference to her topless scenes in Brokeback Mountain and Havoc.

I'm definitely excited for this movie, loved the book. I might have to re-read it.

I didn't love the book. I liked it. I got tired of Miranda's bitchiness and Andy's gophering about halfway in. I felt like I read the same thing on every page.

"And-rea-ah, get me this, get me that, do this, do that..."
"Yes, Miranda. Yes, Miranda."

WHATEVER! Move on. Although, I did like all the stuff with Alex and Lily.

When I went to see JUST MY LUCK, they showed like the first 10 minutes or so of the movie and I thought it looked hysterical. Anne Hathaway, is one my favortie actresses ever since her days as Princess Mia in Princess Diaries. I adore her, and she looks hysterical in this. Meryl, is hysterical looking, she looks like Cruella De Ville on crack.

My favorite line reading...

"The details of your incompetence do not interest me."

I also love the moment where Streep looks down at Hathaway's shoes, then shoots her a death stare.

I really wanna see this movie. It looks really funny/good. I heard the book is good too. The only reason I wanted to see this movie in the first place was because of Tracie Thoms. But the movie looks like its worth watching. re: The Devil Wears Prada

WillAct - curious, did you like Prime? (Sorry, slight threadjack.) I went with a friend and we also had the fortune of having the theatre to ourselves, and we adored the film. It's not perfect, but we've found very few people who share our positive opinion of it. Just wondering if you liked it. Or any other Streep fans here, for that matter...

Hey I am in it too! Okay...background work. Twice. Who knows if I can be seen, but the checks were good. We shot all nuight one night at the Coffee Shop. Trcaie was there and it was the week the Rent cd was coming out. Some crew person went to the Virgin record store and bought it that night and she was all excited to sign it for him.

I really don't understand the appeal of Adrian Grenier.
"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

CostumeMistress-

I thought that Prime was decent. It was cute, but uneven. Streep was brilliant, as always. There is nothing she can't do.
