I am watching this movie now, and it is VERY disturbing. I kind of want to turn it off but at the same time, I want to to watch the rest of it. Anyone else seen this?

I thought it was great. I don't blame those who find it disgusting, because... well, it is. But, it's not without its sociological merit. One thing that no one can argue is that the acting is top-notch.

I thought it would be a terribly made bargain bin horror flick, but what surprised me was that it actually had some wit and creativity regarding its crazy subject matter. One of the most surprisingly good movies of 2005.

FUN FACT: The Devil's Rejects holds the record for the most number of F-Bombs dropped in a single film, thus defeating Gary Oldman's Nil By Mouth, which held the record for a while.

I loved this movie =) Sid Haig was so freakin creepy! Sheri Moon was awesome as usual..."does your wife like it when you throw up on her?" hehe that line made me laugh

Derivative, vulgar, sadistic. Yeah, I liked it.
I went to NCSA with Kate Norby who plays the poor woman who gets the "mask" put on her face....oh, dear! She did a great job. It was also fun to see Mary Woronov (Eating Raoul), Deborah Van Valkenburgh (The Warriors), and P.J. Soles (Carrie, Halloween, Rock And Roll High School)pop up here and there. And Priscilla Barnes! She did some pretty good acting there, I must say.

The acting was top notch and overall, I liked it. Not one of those movies that I will watch over and over, but it was worth the rental fee.

I saw it in the theater the day it opened. I loved House of 1,000 Corpses. So when the latter turned out to be nothing like Corpses, I sat there hating it. However, after letting it sink in, and later buying the dvd, I realized how much better it is than the first. I love it.

I saw the devil's rejects the other day. I can't say that I enjoyed it at all. I did really enjoy the last scene though; won't give anything away just in case here!

House of 1000 Corpses was such a bizarre film. Random plot, but great makeup, award-worthy art direction, and interesting editing techniques.

As brutal and sadistic is it is, it seemed pretty obvious to me that much like "Sin City" and Tarantino's flicks that Zombie amped things up to trigger as much laughter as revulsion. Sick laughs, sure, but this is a comedy as much as anything. The love letter to 70's exploitation flicks is nice, but taking thins soooo over the top makes it so much more fun.
