I dont know why (maybe cos i had the soundtrack on?, but the last picture reminds me of Velma von tussle? Maybe thats just me :)

It's not even that she lost the weight that's the problem - it's how fast it happened. It's not healthy to lose 20 pounds in three months. Plenty of girls in Hollywood are skinnier than she is, but the timing of the weight loss - right after the first season of her hit show - that makes it questionable and saddening.

20lbs in three months is perfectly healthy. That's UNDER the 2 lbs a week that nearly all health professionals will suggest. Also realize that the first 2 or 3 weeks you are likely to lose more than that as well.

And I highly doubt she's lost TWENTY pounds. As I said, she was ALREADY tiny.

Dramamama- the weight loss may have been a normal and healthy rate and amount, but, like you said, she was already tiny. There was absolutely no reason to lose any weight at all, except for the Hollywood Idea of Beauty.

Also, the happiness thing, I'm sure that ego is loving every second of this -- I think the OP just meant she hardly ever smiles in all those red carpet photos, etc. She used to be cute, now it seems like she's trying too hard not to be. Which is fine, I guess, it goes with what people have been saying about the early/mid-20's transformation into sex appeal, but I think that's probably where the statement is coming from. Sure, she laughs and smiles in the interviews and whatnot, but it comes across as very fake, IMO.
