Sports oriented? It's called the Jersey.
I, on the other hand, love sports. Especially swimmers, I mean swimming.

re: 'The Famous Jett Jackson'

I liked Jett, hated Jersey. What about REALLY old ones like The Babysitter's Club or Flash Forward?

re: 'The Famous Jett Jackson'

I loved So Weird and the Babysitters Club. I would only watch Jett and Flash Forward when there was nothing better to do. I remember I wanted my room painted that Strawberry color Jewel Staite's character had her room painted. It's kind of sad Disney doesn’t have the same quality shows anymore.

I also thought that Disney had good taste in the shows that tey grabbed up in syndication. I would never miss their two episodes of Boy MEets world every night, followed by that cute show Smart Guy. I LOVED Smart Guy.

I loved Flash Forward, but I hated, hated, hated The Jersey.

I miss some of the old Nickelodeon shows too. Who's Afraid of the Dark? rocked, even though it scared the crap out of me.

re: 'The Famous Jett Jackson'

I liked Nickelodeon shows in the 90's better than Disney.

Are You Afraid of the Dark
Pete and Pete
Salute Your Shorts
Doug
etc.

For some reason I could never get into Nickelodeon though I loved Disney.

I loved Space Cases, another Jewel Staite show.

Boy Meets World...probably my all time fave.

I loved the Disney cartoons, but Nickelodeon was my first choice. Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Ahh! Real Monsters!

Oh, yes. One of my friends has every episode of Adventures in Wonderland on VHS.

Are You Afraid of the Dark? was pretty much my favorite show EVER. I have an illegal collection of episodes on DVD that I watch constantly.

re: 'The Famous Jett Jackson'

Yeah, I do think the Jersey just might have been a bit more for sports fans...which is why I loved it.

And now that we're going back further...

I had almost every single Babysitters' Club video. They would be included in our weekly readers, and I'd watch them all the time. It took me a while to realize it was a show. Zach Braff was in an episode.

Flash Forward I liked, but always had animosity towards it because I looooved Space Cases. And Jewel left SC after the first season to do FF, because Nick hadn't renewed SC by the time she signed with FF. Catalina was my favorite character on SC, and they pretty much forgot about her in the 2nd season, and yeah, it pissed me off.

As we go back further...

Great show.

Other favorites in those lines included Welcome to Pooh Corner (probably my favorite Disney channel show ever!), Dumbo's Circus, and Under the Umbrella Tree.

Cartoon loves were Care Bears(which I know didn't originally air on Disney, but I remember it playing on that channel), Gummi Bears, and Wuzzles.

And I can't forget waking up at 6AM to Mousercise!

MOUSERCISE

I remember that. I never worked out with them, but for some reason I always watched it when I was getting ready for school. I don't care what anyone says . . . shows were so much better when we were younger:

The Wuzzles
Dumbo's Circus
Clarissa Explains it All
Eureka's Castle
Double Dare

And there was this nickelodeon cartoon about a girl that had these two kuala bears living in her tree outside her bedroom window, and they would take her to their magic land. Does anyone remember that show, and know the name?

re: 'The Famous Jett Jackson'

That was called the Nuzzles. I never watched that though, I watched Adventures of the Little Koala on Nick Jr. Sometimes people get those mixed up.

Alright if we're starting on old Nick shows...

On Nick Jr...
Eureeka's Castle was of course the best
Sharon, Lois and Bram's Elephant Show
Maple Town
David the Gnome
Maya the Bee
Fred Penner's Place

On...not Nick Jr...
Hey Dude
Salute Your Shorts
Space Cases

And those are my 3 favorites, I could go on with others, but I definitely have in many other threads...

BsoBW2, I saw "Jett" on Smallville last night while I was flipping channels.

I used to watch Jett, So Weird, the Jersey (even though I didn't like sports), and Lizzie. After Lizzie all the series got terrible...except Raven is ok.

re: 'The Famous Jett Jackson'

I didn't get Disney Channel until I moved to Indiana in 2001. I watched Jett Jackson from time to time. Never saw So Weird, and I thought The Jersey was stupid. I never was into sports.

Lizzie McGuire was good until it jumped the shark with the episode she started dating Frankie Muniz.

There was one show that I used to watch that NOBODY remembers, Bloopy, and Jonathan Winters was on it.

Eureka's Castle was AMAZING.
And Clarissa Explains It All.

How about ALL THAT, ROCKO'S MODERN LIFE, HIDDEN TEMPLE, GUT, RUGRATS, even HEY ARNOLD!, AHHH, REAL MONSTERS....

Loved them ALL! Global Guts was good too!

I do miss all the old stuff.

I loved Doug. Wasn't there a movie?
#47

re: 'The Famous Jett Jackson'

Doug, the Nick version. Not that awful ABC(?) version.

Rose, Eureeka wasn't a watch-if-you're-home-sick show for me. It was a watch-before-you-go-to-Nursery-School show. Guess I was a bit younger re: 'The Famous Jett Jackson'

re: 'The Famous Jett Jackson'

While not a Disney show this thread reminded me so much of Power Rangers, which i used to love so much. On a funny note, last week my best friend was called in to audition for the new Black Ranger in whatever the next incarnation of Power Rangers is. I think it's hilarious.

And speaking of Doug, I thought this was bizzare and hilarious:

I *loved* Flash Forward. Also, the Disney show that someone mentioned before but couldn't think of the name of was "In a Heartbeat."
I recognize the addiction to being alive.

Catalina was somehow sent to another dimension and replaced with her "imaginary friend" from the same dimension.
