It's underrated..it's pretty good..it's better than the 2005 version..

I love, love, love this movie. Love everything about it: the score, the atmosphere, Jamie Lee Curtis AND Janet Leigh, Adrienne Barbeau in that flannel shirt. . . I would totally listen to her radio show if it existed.
I watch it at least once a year, and I love to show it to friends for the first time.
They just don't make em like this...slow and creepy. Just watched this last week (all about Adrienne Barbeau lately). Love this movie!
My third fave Carpenter film. I had completely forgotten it was even remade...
I haven't seen it in ages, but I remember liking it.
I think you've all talked me into taking it for a spin again.
Love this movie, so much! Never saw the remake. Probably never will.
My general rule is to avoid females like the plague.
Love this film. It's a great double bill with The Thing from 1982...another fave of mine from Carpenter.
I was wondering! One of those "on the fence" titles for me.
Thanks, JB2!
Yes, really great. All those dark scenes are a beautiful shade of blue, and really clear. Nothing murky. Another great-looking John Carpenter Blu-ray is BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA.

They don't make posters like they used to.
Did anybody pick it up on Bluray?
Tales from the Mist: Inside The Fog
Love this film, the remake was awful
I just want to mention that Shout! Factory has become sort of the Criterion for 70s/80s horror.
They have lovingly transferred and upgraded a lot of classic as well as obscure titles this year and have a nice slate lined up for the future.
So if you're a fan of 70s/80s horror check out their site.
Yeah, Shout! Factory is on my list of people to send Valentines Day cards to, I love them so much.
Mr too Jordan. I just got Larry Cohen's "Q: Winged Serpent" and the double feature "Xray/Schizoid".
B movies have never looked so A movie pristine.
Yeah, Shout! Factory is on my list of people to send Valentines Day cards to, I love them so much.
They have done some wonderful releases with great quality, but then they "tricked" me into buying the Johnny Sokko DVD set. It's almost unwatchable. The video transfers look like 3rd generation copies of VHS tapes. They're blurry and the colors bleed on them. I felt like I was watching TV without my contact lenses.
So no Valentine's Day card from me. And now my guard is up, and my trust has been damaged.
I will never date them again.
