And today we find out he's not only a musical theater actor (who couldn't bother to memorize the words to the one song he knew he would have to perform at an audition) but also a writer. With his fine command of the English language and fanatical attention to sentence structure and grammar, I'm certainly not surprised. Talk about a triple threat.

Is the pun the part where he says his computer's "curser" is giving him the finger? Because I think it was just a typo.

Note the surly woman at the vegetable market. He hasn't encountered ONE PERSON whom he hasn't criticized or sterotyped.

So far the only challenge we've seen is him getting out of bed in the morning. He seems to be pretty under-budget. Maybe this is setting the bar low to feel like a winner. Or is it one of those extra chairs in musical chairs so nobody loses?

I don't have a problem with the loosey-goosey aspect of the "challenge"; I mean, he's not competing on some reality show with set rules or anything. It could be moderately interesting--struggling actor in NYC, trying to stay on a particular budget while enjoying life in the city.
But the thing about blogs like this is you should want to spend a few minutes each day in the blogger's virtual company. And he's just so unpleasant.

Stiles Market, the place he is talking about, is a strange place. I don't wanna know how they keep their freakishly low prices and amazing selection. I can buy as much stuff there as I can carry and not spend twenty bucks.
Screw leaving this guy comments. I want to find out where he works (which shouldn't be tough) and check him out in person. I'm super curious to see this guy in action.

A spelling mistake (Ariba, Ariba) and a grammar mistake (A NYC tourist) in the title alone. Such the writer this one is.
I feel sorry for someone who not only regales people with stories about getting drunk in high school but also got that sloppy on TWO screwdrivers. I'm thankful he's on a budget because he would have come home with so many Statue of Liberty M&Ms, Prince Eric dolls and candy he wouldn't know what to do with himself.
Glad to see that he's found out the secret of cooking at home on Day 5 after an overpriced lunch that doesn't fill you up. I'm also thankful that the waiters at Arriba, Arriba are gay so they have been spared his wrath of the day unlike the surly vegetable woman.

This is just sad. He's so full of himself. I too would be interested in seeing him in action. Something just didn't add up to me in his story about working on Sunday. Why would someone, especially a customer, be saying what they did to his face?

I would like to call attention to the fact that this is the first time he's referred to himself as a man.

I am going to take a page from Nora Ephron and add this 'boy' to the list of things I refuse to know anything about.
Life is too short.
(And, if you've never read Nora Ephron's "I Remember Nothing", get thee to a bookstore or a library. Stat.)

If anybody knows what "Caffe" our 30-something high schooler (was he influenced by the Grease movie?) works at PM me with it because I *will* stop in for brunch. Cuz I LOVE plain old coffee with brunch. You guys can even feed me coded lines to drop in his direction and we'll see if they can make his blog.
