Many of the usual suspects are here, but I found several surprises also.
Particularly #'s 4, 8, and 9. I knew they were well reviewed but didn't expect them to appear on a top list.
Of course, they break the films down into categories based on geography so there is more room for upstarts.

I LOVED Zombieland- easily my favorite film of last year.

DRAG ME TO HELL had 92%?! Though it was fun to LAUGH AT, it was a horrid movie.
Of the movies I have seen on that list, the one I don't get is Coraline. What snooze fest.
I like Metacritic over Rotten Tomatoes.

Drag Me To Hell was easily the most enjoyable movie for me of the year. Sam Raimi's take on horror films is always so refreshing and I am absolutely in love with that movie. Was it the best? No.
Fantastic Mr. Fox was the best in my book. Up being at #1 is well deserved and I'm a little surprised that Star Trek is #2, but I haven't seen it yet, so I suppose that's up in the air. Speaking of, am I the only one who DIDN'T like Up in the Air?
btw, Stagey. I just about jumped for joy when I saw your av. One of my favorites.

I LOVED Drag Me To Hell. One of the best horror movies in years.
Add me to the list that only found Coraline and Fantastic Mr. Fox as fair. Still need to see UP IN THE AIR.
Kasie, my love!
Someone highly recommended it and I enjoyed it very much. Just hope the US remake doesn't **** it up!
I wish they had a "Top Critics" list. It looks like they used the full T-meter score, which includes a ton of "critics" from fan sites, blogs, etc. I had fun watching Drag Me to Hell, but if you take the Top Critic score, it is 88%. I think the majority of the good reviews are due to the fact that it was an entertaining horror flick, which has been a rarity for many years now.
