"The Hills"

Isn't this show just the fakest, most staged reality TV show in the world?

re: 'The Hills'

Or is that Cheyenne, but atleast she is cute.

re: 'The Hills'

Omg! I feltthe same way about these shows as I did about "High School Musical": I wanted to shoot myself after watching them. "Cheyenne"(is that her real name or did MTV give her that?) is cute, until she opens her mouth to talk or sing.

re: 'The Hills'

It's terrible, but I watched it.
Wrong, sir. Wrong! Under section 37B of the contract signed by him, it states quite clearly that all offers shall become null and void if - and you can read it for yourself in this photostatic copy - "I, the undersigned, shall forfeit all rights, privileges, and licenses herein and herein contained," et cetera, et cetera..."Fax mentis incendium gloria cultum," et cetera, et cetera..."Memo bis punitor delicatum"! It's all there, black and white, clear as crystal! You stole fizzy lifting drinks. You bumped into the ceiling which now has to be washed and sterilized, so you get nothing! You lose! Good day sir!

re: 'The Hills'

Is it worse than Laguna Beach?

It's my guilty pleasure! haha.

re: 'The Hills'

Colleen, it sure is.

It's amusing and infuriating at the same time. The girls have so obviously been given jobs solely because they are being filmed. They walk into huge companies with no experience, education, or mildly acceptable interviewing skills and are given positions.

But I still watch...hmmm

Millie, they're interns with Teen Vogue. Skills and experience aren't as important as being able to look hot while checking off names at the door of a party.

re: 'The Hills'

That is true... though you would think those internships would be competitive.

I was thinking of Heidi (?) who got an actual job with a party planning/PR company.

re: 'The Hills'

Oh true. And hers isn't even an internship, it's an actual assistant job. But from the promos, it looks like she won't be there long. When is the next original episode? I tend to catch the reruns on weekends, I don't know when the originals air.

re: 'The Hills'

Love every cheesy, staged second of this show. CHEYENNE on the other hand is awful. I just don't get it. THE HILLS is staged in an enjoyable way at least; CHEYENNE is just so bland and blah....I just found THE HILLS a lot more enjoyable and entertaining than CHEYENNE. I'd probably give THE HILLS a 'B' and CHEYENNE a 'C-'.

re: 'The Hills'

Cheyenne is unwatchable. Every person involved is completely uninteresting. What's the tension? What's the conflict? Who wants to watch some mediocre 15-year-old singer/songwriter trying to begin a career?

re: 'The Hills'

The Hills, I love. I am a Laguna Beach freak. I adore LC, she's so geniune and more real than most of the people on reality tv today. Her friend Heidi, I cant stand her, she's so ditzy and retarded. Yes, it seems alittle- staged, I mean she's a famous reality star who has to "fight" to get a Teen Vouge internship, I don't think so. But still. I love LC.

Cheyenne- its okay, I've only watched it once. If it were about Cheyenne Jackson, it would be SO much better. I remember this girl from America's Most Talented Kid, and shes' pretty but she's not too bright.

Anyone watch Supergroup? This show is hysterical. Right now Sebastian Bach is wearing a t-shirt proclaiming "No Crybabies Allowed." The irony.

I think the new eps of The Hills are Wed at 10.
Someone correct me if I am wrong... I tend to catch them on repeat since they are played constantly.

Didn't Cheyenne win America's Most Talented Kid? hmm, glad to see something so meaningful came of that...

Yes- Cheyenne did win. She beat out a young Diana Degarmo.
She's always 2nd in everything, poor Diana.
