and it's about time. I've always wondered what Jackie Chan and Will Smith's prepubescent son would bring to this series. Hopefully Peter Cetera wll write a new song for it.

Does this mean we'll finally get that remake of Top Gun the public has been crying for?
A movie filmed in China about a kid learning kung-fu moves from kung-fu action hero Jackie Chan, and they are still calling it The Karate Kid rather than Kung-Fu Kid? The studios really do think people are that dumb.

Of course it has. It's all part of Hollywood's plan to remake EVERY F**KING MOVIE THAT CAME OUT IN THE EIGHTIES.
And Mr. Chan...you are no Pat Morita.
If I see a movie about inner city school kids (because every remake has to take place in an inner city school) who are forced to confront their problems while stuck in detention, I'm going to lose it.
After suffering through the trailer the other night before the Tooth Fairy ( well thats a whole other story! ) I think I will pass.
I think I'll stick with the Karate Kid musical.
when I clicked that link it said "visiting this site may harm your computer" so I closed it.
I'm not happy about this. Jackie Chan as Mr. Miyagi? No thanks.
One question...WHY? If anyone wants to see "The Karate Kid" just go rent/buy the original. When are they doing the remake of "Sixteen Candles"?
I want my remake of the Goonies!
"I want my remake of the Goonies!"
I pray you're joking.
If he wasn't, I keep a razor under my tongue for fools like that.
