Okay, I'm leaving town tonight, not back till late Monday - you're all going to just let this thread die, aren't you?

Fine...I'll bump it.
Was I *really* the only one who saw KZ in Much Ado About Nothing? She was my ideal Beatrice- that lady can really act.
You may have been, Guen. I read the reviews though - apparently she can rock her Shakespeare. Can Idina??

Only if it was a musical! And if Beatrice needed to belt everything. But that's it. Take that, witch!
She was great, it made me a fan.
The whole cast was great too, Dan Snook was awesome opposite her. I wish I could have seen it again...
Hopefully she'll do some more stuff like that a little closer to home. Then we can all see her, along with some casting director/producer/director types.

You guys have done a really horrible job of keeping up this thread!!! (And it's only been ONE day... you guys suck...)
Oh yeah... and um... Karen rocks. Woo.

Just to add something to the thread:
The other night I was watching PBS and there was a short (12 minute) called OFFICE PARTY. The cast included Carol Kane, Tate Donovan, Ralph Macchio (!), Clea Lewis (the squeaky voiced girl on the old ELLEN sitcom), comedian Dave Attel, and Jon Stewart. There was one other guy - a good looking white-haired guy in his late 50's - playing the boss. I knew I knew this guy and couldn't figure out how. As the credits ran, it finally hit me, literally a second before his name appeared on the TV screen - it was Bill Tatum. Karen's hubby.
One degree of separation from KZ

Doesn't EVERYONE have one degree of separation from Karen Ziemba?
Ooo... ooo... let's play a Karen game! Like that Kevin Bacon game, but not. I'll start... I'll throw out a name and you link the person to Karen... (how exciting!!! *jumps up and down with glee*)
Okay... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Patty Duke!

Ooo... challenge. :)
Emily Skinner was roommates with Sarah Uriarte Berry at Carnegie Mellon University (like, in the stone age of COURSE... *wink*).
Sarah Uriarte Berry played Miss Dorothy in THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE at La Jolla Playhouse from Oct. 6-Sept. 10, 2000 along with Sutton Foster.
Sutton Foster participated in the Actor's Fund of America's FUNNY GIRL benefit concert on Sept. 23, 2002 along with Idina Menzel.
Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth currently star opposite each other in WICKED (you learn something new every day, right?).
Kristin Chenoweth was engaged to Marc Kudisch until she dumped him (stupid, stupid girl).
Marc Kudisch (is really, really hot) played Joie Ray in a workshop of STEEL PIER at the Public Theatre with... *drum roll*
LA ZIEMBA!!!
*wild applause*
Now THAT is how you play Six Degrees of Karen Ziemba!!
Onward...

Why include Kudisch? Yoi can go directly from Chenoweth in Steel Pier to Ziemba.
Here's a quicker connection: Kevin Bacon was in the movie WILD THINGS with Bill Murray.
Bill Murray played Luther Billis to Ziemba's Nellie Forbush in a Lincoln Center concert version of SOUTH PACIFIC in 2000.

Why include Kudisch?
A.) It's MARC KUDISCH.
B.) Um, it's SIX degrees of separation.
If I was going for short... Emily and Karen were in Miscast together last year. WHERE is the fun in that? Plus, Marc being in the workshop is more obscure... Steel Pier is what put Kristin on the map.
You're just jealous because my degrees were more interesting than yours. :)
