Irons was in THE REAL THING with Christine Baranski. Baranski was in NICK & NORA with Debra Monk. Monk was in STEEL PIER with Ziemba.

Robin Williams starred in "Mrs. Doubtfire." His ex-wife was played by Sally Field. Sally Field was Amanda Wingfield in "The Glass Menagerie" during the Kennedy Center's Tennessee William's festival. That production was directed by Gregory Mosher. Mosher is the artistic director for Lincoln Center Theatre. LCT produced "Contact" which netted KZ her Tony.

Goldberg was in A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM with Nathan Lane. Lane hosted ANGELA LANSBURY: A CELEBRATION in which Ziemba performed.

Joan Collins was in the nighttime soap opere "Dynasty." Her ex-lover and head of the rival family was John Forsythe. Forsythe provides the voiceover for Charlie in "Charlie's Angels." Drew Barrymore starred in the movie remakes of "Charlie's Angels." Drew's grandfather is John Barrymore. A staging of John Barrymore's life starred Chris Plummer and featured Michael Musto as his stage manager. Musto played Nathan Detroit to KZ's Miss Adelaide in a recent production of "Guys and Dolls."

Phil Collins did songs for Disney's Tarzan , which featured the voice if Glenn Close. Close was in the Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert with Karen Ziemba.

Jon, I am probably as obsessed with Ginger Rogers as you are with Ms. Ziemba. I knew about the production of Babes in Arms that Ginge directed... I however have NOT seen the picture of her and Karen. Do you know where I can find myself a copy of that???

(Have I mentioned I own over 40 of Ginger's movies? Doubles of some... right, I told you, obsessed.)

The Ginger Rogers photo appeared in the late lamented Theatre Week Magazine in a tribute to Rogers after she died. I was always sure that someone on the editorial staff was obsessed with Karen, because it seemed they managed to get a picture of her into every single issue. If there was an opening night party for some show, and Karen was there, her photo made it into Theatre Week.

Jessica Simpson covers "Take My Breath Away," on her latest album. That song was featured in the movie "Top Gun" which starred Tom Cruise. Tom Cruise is the ex-husband of Nicole Kidman. Nicole Kidman will assay the role of Ulla in the filmed production of "The Producers" directed by Susan Stroman. Stro directed KZ in "Contact."
