Perhaps they were a titch early for Dia de los muertos?
I wish I brought my program with me so I can recount for the no-shows the set list. Natalie Douglas' Stormy Weather and Gabrielle Stravelli's Mr. Monotony were both fabulous (plus, they're friends so I just wanted to brag).
'Marking' is probably the wrong word. But I can almost see in (or is it 'project upon'?) Judy the sense of, 'This song is terrible, but I'll sing the sh*t out of it anyway and we can all move on to the guy falling on the violin.'
Yeah, I think her disassociation, if you will, actually makes the weird match up of "How to Disappear Completely" and an old Hollywood musical even more compelling.
So, I've obviously been snoozing here, because apparently Robbie is, like, messageboard famous? Break a leg on unplugging Sondheim, Robbie! Wait, let me rephrase that. No, actually, don't let me.

If any of you are around for Fourth of July weekend, I'll be playing Livingston in 54 Below Sings 1776. We have two shows on the 3rd and 2 on the Fifth. Is Anybody There?
And I'll be cursing at you for being on the Island without me. Was just in the Pines this past weekend and it was STUNNING.

HorseTears, It's true. I'm very well known amongst a very small amount of people!
Aw, that's lovely. Just like Kelli O'Hara.

I might actually be out there that week for a job interview (fingers crossed!) and would like to break my 54 Below cherry.
