Posted: 6/17/14 at 4:08pmI would have at least waved to you while devouring one of those salted caramel marshmallows. Tell me you had one!

I had a vanilla one and the bear made fun of me.
But I had a few rye vodka tonics.

Reginald,
I'm at the very top of the Whose Who of Who Cares! How could you think I wouldn't be there??
One of the iterations of Joan Rivers was there as well. It's really unsettling up close.
#30The Meeting of the International Order of Sodomites
Posted: 6/17/14 at 4:50pmThe Rivers also left after intermission. It may have been a person in a Rivers fleshmask.

Perhaps they were a titch early for Dia de los muertos?
I wish I brought my program with me so I can recount for the no-shows the set list. Natalie Douglas' Stormy Weather and Gabrielle Stravelli's Mr. Monotony were both fabulous (plus, they're friends so I just wanted to brag).
#32The Meeting of the International Order of Sodomites
Posted: 6/17/14 at 5:10pmI have to say I was underwhelmed with Sierra Boggess' "I Don't Care." I didn't, either.
#33The Meeting of the International Order of Sodomites
Posted: 6/17/14 at 5:13pmHA! It certainly wasn't my favorite, but I think the song is kind of...pointless. Even in Good Old Summertime, I'm all, 'Bitch is marking.'

Marking?!? Judy doesn't care what you think of her "I Don't Care."

Wow. Sounds like a marvelous time. I'm totally not jealous or anything. Sigh.
I'm just gonna leave my body for a few mins, following Judy's lead...
#36The Meeting of the International Order of Sodomites
Posted: 6/18/14 at 11:17am'Marking' is probably the wrong word. But I can almost see in (or is it 'project upon'?) Judy the sense of, 'This song is terrible, but I'll sing the sh*t out of it anyway and we can all move on to the guy falling on the violin.'

Yeah, I think her disassociation, if you will, actually makes the weird match up of "How to Disappear Completely" and an old Hollywood musical even more compelling.
So, I've obviously been snoozing here, because apparently Robbie is, like, messageboard famous? Break a leg on unplugging Sondheim, Robbie! Wait, let me rephrase that. No, actually, don't let me.

HorseTears,
It's true. I'm very well known amongst a very small amount of people!
If any of you are around for Fourth of July weekend, I'll be playing Livingston in 54 Below Sings 1776. We have two shows on the 3rd and 2 on the Fifth.

Aw, Robbie, damn it. I'll be passing through on my way to Fire Island, and I'll be missing that by one damn day.

And I'll be cursing at you for being on the Island without me. Was just in the Pines this past weekend and it was STUNNING.
Namo, I've been trying to go as the 'Shh...Shark in the pond' girl from JAWS for Halloween for years! But my friends think it's too esoteric. I disagree that red kerchief and the calico pants?? Of course the world will know who I am.

Aw, that's lovely. Just like Kelli O'Hara.

I might actually be out there that week for a job interview (fingers crossed!) and would like to break my 54 Below cherry.
