32 of Opera's current, most handsome men
...And Ramin Karimloo?

I love Ramin, but he's not really opera.
And hello, Mr. John Brandon. I may have to visit you at some point.

No mention of Randall Scotting?!?! I thought he would have topped the list for his performance in Ercole su'l Termodonte alone.

If by "not really" you mean "not at all" then I agree with you. His inclusion on this list was the only thing that made me go "what?"
Otherwise it's nice to see once again that the classic stereotypical image of the fat guy (or girl) playing the handsome lead (or villain) is fading away.

34. (Currently my #1) Paulo Szot.
(as seen in 54 Below this week!)
Thank you so much for the link Wynbish.
I had no idea Opera had so many hunks. I am especially intrigued by Beltrn Iraburu and Anthony Roth Costanzo
I shall stop obsessing about my favourite Wagnerian Sopranos and spend some time this weekend listening (and drooling over) this link.
I do prefer listening to the female operatic voice rather than the male voice, but these pictures will help.
And did you guys see last week's list of hot ballet dancers?
Delish!

OMFG!!!

I shall enjoy looking at all those boys when I get home.
Thanks tazber

Here's a little Paulo Szot, who was inexplicably left off that list:

Man, I love the classics!
I have a soft spot for he-of-the-crazy-brows, Rolando Villazon.
And seriously, Paulo should be on there if Ramin is on there.
I never really got the appeal of Jonas Kaufmann.
