"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Oh my God! I just want to take a shotgun, shove it up Jonathan's ass, and fire away!

Did you see his interview with the camera man? He's yelling at Victoria for NO REASON then talks sh*t about her! LEWSER.

Dump him, Victoria. He's no good for you.

OK, who was the chick who said "My implants are frozen!"?

Priceless.
JOHN LITHGOW I just realized, your last name is Butz! Both "Norbert" AND "Butz" are in your name! You must have gotten picked on a lot as a child!

Im voting for Gus and Hera, though I don't believe they will win.

I'm putting my money on Avi and Joe. I'll get back to you who my favorites are once I see the first episode.

The first off had to be one of those who chose to look for the buoy. Anyone who has ever watched the show knows looking for a needle in a haystack is the biggest crapshoot in the game. Loudmouth and Whiny got lucky this time.

I also can't stand Jonathan & Victoria.

I was bummed that the Broklyn guys lost. I laughed when one of them said "our people wandered in the desert for forty years, now we're sleeping on a glacier."

I HATED Jonathan. I could actually see him turning and bashing his wife across the face... am I the only one who thought he sounded like someone who beats his wife?

And... there should be a hot gay couple... hehe

Yeah, I can't believe the Brooklyn guys said "Well, 7 square feet isn't too big. It's logical to go with this" - IDIOTS!

Victoria lets Jonathan be a problem. She takes crap from him even when he is wrong - he blames her for everything! Girl, you sould have thrown him down that waterfall or into a glacier.

Jonathan came across VERY badly...and was it me, or did Victoria look like Darla in her vampire makeup on "Angel?"

thanks for the reminder... so busy lately I've lost track of time. (I still haven't seen my tape from last week, though, so I may just have to tape this one and watch them both over the weekend!)

I'm still cracking up about Jonathan's comment, "I see myself as the Dictator of this relationship" from the first episode. I'm getting Colin/ Christie deja vu.

OH MY GOD!

Jonathan HIT Victoria twice! First he pushes her and then he puts his hand in her face and pushes her back again!

Then when they make it to the pit stop, he says "Hahaha! See, baby, I did! What did I tell you? If you believe you can do it, you can, and I did it! Am I good or what?"

Yes, Jonathan. You did it all by yourself. You rule. I bow down and kiss your feet. IDIOT! He is the first reality TV star I have ever wanted to kill, literally.

And I love how the sisters agree with Jonathan when he was looking, but as soon as he turns away, they look at Victoria with a "yeah right" look on their face and burst out laughing.

Poor Victoria. WHY does she stay with him? I wouldn't put up with that, not even for $1M.

Yes. Johnathan is a wife beater who hasn't casued serious injury... yet.

Hopefully there's some male member of her family that will beat the crap out of him after seeing this show like Sonny beat the crap out of Carlo in The Godfather.

I couldn't believe Jonathan! I was so appalled - besides shoving his wife two times, he also raised his arm to hit her in the car at one point, and then pulled back. I wouldn't care if he fell out of the car!

How ridiculous that Maria and Meredith couldn't drive stick? I think I would make sure I knew stuff like that if I was going on a show like that.
