I usually attack the person who mentions Rent and a flaunt around my knowledge of the entire soundtrack.
Not really. Heh.

THANK YOU DELPHIE. I hate that about CBers.
I can't not talk about Rent, it will work its way into the conversation. People who've known me for more than a week usually know that I like it. I just don't force it on anyone and most people wouldn't get it anyway.
Odd thing- I have never once metioned Adam to anyone.
ACK!! SORRY, TIFF. OBC RECORDING!!! Where did my mind go?
I was just talking about the ALMOST FAMOUS soundtrack with my friends. The word "soundtrack" stuck.
*hangs head in shame*
Never? Adam? Never? Really? Hah!
I mentioned Adam to my mother and one of my friends. That's it.
Normally, people realize I'm a "play person" within minutes of meeting me. Sometimes days, if they're lucky.
Well, when you see me walking around in my RENT shirt every week, it's kinda hard not to tell.
Where do you live, Delph? In Vancouver, aside from the "BIG BIG" musicals, people know crap about Broadway. I mean, big crowds for Les Mis and Mamma Mia and POTO, but that's about it. Even JCS and Miss Saigon didn't sell out when it was here. And it makes me sad.

No joke, Tiff. The one exception was buying Civilian, I had to order it. It was kinda awkward.
*cough* Som, get your ass back to T/D.
I'm such an idiot. Here I am, all excited with my new laptop from school. I typed up all my honors work and everything, and I was just clicking the print button over and over again, until I realized that I wasn't connected to a printer. *smacks head*
Tiff, I'm in California, remember? The most racially diverse city in the country (but not Hell-A)? People don't know diddly-squat about musicals here, yet the news this morning did say that 1,000 or so people lined up to buy tickets for the tour of The Lion King. I take that as progress.

Delph, if the Wicked tour goes to Hell-Ay, I will meet you there, ok? (Yes, I know it's Wicked. Don't judge. But I want an excuse to hit SoCal again!)
Nia, you and I got it bad.
And Tiff, I dunno. I'm scared of all the crazed teenage girls just waiting to glomp the tour's Elphaba.

That's true. And Hell-Ay Valley girls would scare the **** out of me.
Oh. My. God. Those girls are possibly the scariest humans on the face of the earth.
Agreed. ::shudders::

Do they really all have Paris-Hilton-blond hair and belly shirts? A Californian moved here recently, this girl in my art class. She spent most of the time trying to tell me that Paris was smart and a great singer/actress and was soo nice and that I shouldn't believe what I read.
Uhm, I don't see too many of them around my parts, but they are abundant in LA. Even the way they walk is disgusting.

I'm sorry.
What are you like? Ms. painter/aethist/broadway fan, you don't seem to be the typical Californian.
I'm a boho/prep. I think. I have my preppy moments and a couple pink/purple clothing items, but I'm also very hippy-bohemian. I think I lean more towards the bohemian. But I've a very chic, CA-stylized bohemian. The good kind. But don't get the wrong impression- I don't wearing long, flowy floral skirts or peasant blouses. I dress very modern- New Yorker mixed with San Francisco. Does that make any sense whatsoever?
Gosh, that was really bad.
And what are you like (and feel free to describe youself other than your clothing style)?

That sounds cool. So like newish-boho, not stuck-in-the-sixties?
now what do you have to say 'bout yourself, nia?
