Ew, why would you want to be Quebecois? (Aside from the poutine! TELL me you know poutine!)

poutine? umm...food of some sort? rodent liver ice-cream, or something? Quebec rules!!! It's like a North American European hotspot for the cool sophisticates.
lol So I've heard, but they're also deadset on distancing themselves of their Canadian identity, which kinda sucks. (I guess I shouldn't generalize to all of them.) I've heard fantastic things about Montreal. I heard it's better than Toronto.
And poutine is NOT from a caribou, like someone thought on another thread. It's french fries with melted mozza and gravy on top. Ohhh...yeah...

And on behalf of Canada, I am very sorry we stuck her on you. I truly am sorry. But we had to put up with her English AND her French tracks, so we suffered much more.

Who did Vancouver give us, apart from Pamela Anderson? I put it to you, Type_A_Tiff, that Vancouver is all talk and no razzle.
:) *
*How do you do a proper yellow smiley face, anyways?
Canada gave us Jack Bauer... er, well Keifer Sutherland.

'Quebec gave us Celine Dion! '

... Iiiii... wish you could meet my girlfriend, my girlfriend who lives in Canada..
Sorry, I couldn't help it...
Excuse me while I splutter and choke at Ellie's comment about Vancouver.
For your information, little missy, Vancouver/BC gave you Eric McCormack, Michael J. Fox, the X-Files, Joshua Jackson, Devon Sawa, Sarah Maclaughan, Kristin Kreuk, Smallville, Dark Angel, Kim Cattrall, Gil Bellows (from Ally McBeal), Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie from Who's Line Is It Anyway?, and has been the vacation and film location spot for many celebrities, such as...well...like, everyone. As in, Ben Affleck and Jen Garner were 3 blocks away from my house yesterday, shopping.
Don't forget Peter Jennings.
I didn't know that Ryan Stiles was Canadian! That's so cool!

WHAT?!
I'm a HUGE Alias fan. Tell me about Jennifer Garner!

OH YEAH! Ryan Stiles is one of my friend's immediate cousins! They're mothers are sisters. And Ryan is muy hot in person, which I will never admit to my friend because they look very similar. (Ryan has got an amazing body for such a GEEK!)
And Kim Cattrall is from Liverpool but raised in Courteney, BC!
Jen Garner was filming Elektra (spinoff from Daredevil) in Vancouver. By all accounts she is a major sweetheart and a perfectionist to the n-th degree. One particularly nippy night on location she bought coffee and pizza for the whole cast as a thank you for staying so late.
And I adore Ben. Haven't met him, but I dig him and I've worked with ppl who've worked with him and they say he's a fun guy.
But by all accounts, the nicest Hollywoodites who've worked in Vancouver are Hugh Jackman (this I can confirm) and Robin Williams (who I've met but not on a set).

Nope, and I think I'm like, the only person in the Vancouver film industry who didn't take part in that film. It was filming when I was full-time with Immigration. Don't get me started.
