haha, no I have not had the pleasure of getting Lexi drunk. I tried with Em & Sweetdisaster but they refused, lol!
Update - see Chloe's disappearing post for this to make sense!
When was this, Tink, and why do I not remember? I never pass up a drink, but at BB King's, I wasn't about to get my ID that I paid WAY too much money for taken! I think Lexi can back me up in saying it's not the best.
hehehe, yeah BB's. They never even bothered to ID me, and I don't look young but not old. I was actually quite shocked. Anywho, I'm just playing around!
Hee, I know. I don't think it helps that I look like I'm about 15.
But yeah, I already have my good tickets for Rent, and once I make some money this summer, I hope I get can another set of not so great seats to see them before they leave.

Waking up drunk is better than waking up hungover. Take some aleve and bring out the water, gatorade and/or vitamin water
gatorade is actually a misconception - too much sugar.
I have really good seats for aug 25, but i don't think I can wait that long hehe.

Honestly? I love drinking, but my body recovers from the effects of alcohol so slowly that it rarely feels worth getting drunk to me. Even though I'm not technically hungover, I'm going to feel out of commission all of today.
The guys at the bar were just vile, too. Only in New York City can disgusting guys dance with cute girls, I swear. I finally found two cute guys by the end of the night, but they were from Albania and couldn't really speak English. Hah, oh well.
I guess I can go to some laundry.
i'm similar Lexi. Once night I will drink a lot and be absolutely fine the next morning, but then the next week i will have 2 drinks and have a hangover the size of texas. I have never been able to figure it out.
MotorTink-I have good seats for August 25th too! The 2PM show.

I dont do Gatorade personally, but my best friend swears by it. The best thing is Vitamin water, for me. I rarely get very drunk so much that I am completely bedridden the next day. But usually I'm the same as you guys, I cant get any work done and I'm just so blah that the day's wasted anyway.
And yes, guys at bars are the absolute worst. I had some guy a few weeks ago chewing my ear off about how amazing it is that Sleepy Hollow is actually Tarrytown, and what a shock it is that so few people know that. I told him I was FROM Sleepy Hollow, so I was not part of that group. He kept talking, though
I want to get tix for their last night, which is the 9th, but I'm wondering if they might extend.
ok how sad is this? I have never gone drinking at a bar. I got married at 16 so... well you get the picture.

Bars are way overrated - I only go with a group of friends, usually only for a particular occasion
I live in NYC and I haven't done the bar/club thing yet. I got really sick pretty shortly after I turned 21, and even though I'm pretty much better now, I've been on one form of medication or another for nearly a month now, and because of the drug/alcohol interactions, I haven't been able to drink at all while I've been on them. I'm on something right now that makes you sleepy, and alcohol intensifies the effect, so I can't have anything tomorrow night, either.
Jumping in to reply as I myself have never really been into the NYC nightlife of clubs and bars. I'd much rather get dinner and drinks with friends at a restaurant and then afterwards go out to either a wine bar or chill coffeehouse. I hate how almost every bar in this city insists on blasting the music so loud that you have shout to hold a simple conversation.
Ironically enough, I'm not feeling real great today either as a certain boy was able to get me out of my comfortable stomping grounds and down to the Lower East Side bar scene for a lil too much fun last night. As the sun started rising, I figured that might be my cue to maybe think about heading home. Walked into my apt this morning at 6:05 AM. Totally unlike me.
I really don't get how people do that sort of thing every weekend because I have been completely wiped all day. I'm young, I should be in my prime for this sort of thing but really all I want to do tonight is curl up in bed and watch a movie.

I'm with you - I am the 23 year old senior citizen.
I thought of this thread (and all the talk of drinking that's been going on) when I saw this photo... Adam looks like he's feeling no pain. lol

I love that picture so much. They look like little kids playing dress up
And I completely forgot that Yassmin Alers was in the OBC
Adam looks quite pleased with what's on his lap
I'm am SO STOKED about watching the Tony's tonight. I'm crossing my fingers that Raul wins!
I'm always amazed by how young they look in that picture, especially Daphne.
Me too, Brina. All of the imposing Hyde Pierce ads around the site are making me nervous.
Me too Ariella. The thing is I really like David Hyde Pierce; but this has to be Raul's year, I'd be really disappointed if he didn't win. (But I guess you also have to look at it that Raul was nominated; that's a pretty big honor if you look at it.)
Interesting, misschung, last time that picture was posted in this thread, you had no idea who Yassmin was and kept referring to her as "that girl"
I do love that picture. It's my favorite OBCers and my favorite Mimi. Guess who. :-P

I know, because when they picture was posted the last time, I didnt remember who she was, and someone responded saying it was Yassmin.
I was looking at an old program last week (a replacement for the OBC one that I unfortunately lost) for the first time in like 10 years, and I saw her headshot and realized that she was an OBC cast member.
Brina, I like your new pic!
Wow, this thread is 3 pages back.
I love how young they look in the above picture. Now its 11 years later....and two of them will be in Rent again very soon.

Everyone was caught up in the Tony buzz. *comforts Adam thread*
that looks like it was one fun party
Ah... the Tonys. Now would be the perfect time to remember Adam's nomination for the role of Roger. :)
