*ponders in reminiscence*
ah, the 90s...
Yes, I think Raul deserves as much recognition as possible right now. I still cannot forget his face last night during his standing ovation.
Anyway, I think that The Return is going to be the only thing that comforts my sadness over Company's close
we are on the third page?? sorry just gotta bump
It looks like some pictures from the American Primitive set have popped up. No Adam yet, but here's the happy family (on my favorite beach!)..

that sweater vest looks like a toilet paper cozy.
I can't wait for the Adam pics.
Sweetdisaster, I used to go to that beach all the time too! Too bad it's not this summer....!
So that explains it Guitargirl; thank you! This has been happening to me for the past month...
Anyway, I like the new pictures; can't wait to see what Adam looks like.
Wow... that's some wicked hair that Tate's got going on... Hopefully we'll see some pics of Adam pop up soon!

I'm sure Adam looked as he did both before the filming at Penn State and after the filming at BB King. I'm interested to see a picture of him in character, though.
Tink, I am absolutely in love with your avatar!!!!
I really need to participate in all this Adam love.....
Oh, what the hell...I might as well come out from my corner where I've been hiding for months...my name is Linda and I'm an Adam Pascal fan. Whew...it's good to get that out..LOL

lol! For a second I thought your avatar was Rent-movie-Adam. (that sounds like the name of a doll, lol)
just kidding. but welcome!
thanks..just one of the other men in my life!!
Nice to see some newbies. Sorry to have been mostly gone for a while, but I've been working way too much.
I'll second the working way too much.
Sorta off topic, but has anyone tried or found the rice cream that Cybele mentioned on her blog a while back? Today, on my day off, I was on a quest to find it and went to every Whole Foods in the state. No one's heard of it. Ice cream is probably one of my favorite foods, but I'd love eating it without being sick for an entire day.
Good to see you around Chloe & SD!
Thanks, Tink!
I've seen Rice Dream in NYC health food stores. My dairy allergic friend likes it very much. Like many wholesale companies, they have a store locator service. Check out the link. They're not always reliable, since stores run out or don't reorder, but it's a place to start.
Rice Dream
Thanks, Chloe. That may have been helpful this morning before I spent three hours driving around haha.
Whoops, I think I steered you wrong anyway. There are two rice-based ice cream substitutes with similar names. Here's the one that Cybele recommends, from Good Karma foods. They have a store locator page too.
Rice Cream
I haven't found it, but I also haven't looked... so by that I mean I haven't run into it yet. Rice Dream has been around for years, I ate it a lot as a kid, but for some reason I seem to recall that I can't anymore. I should check on that. Speaking of Cybele and food, though (how perfectly timed!), Fantab and I just made one of the things from her column. It came out good, I'm very proud of us.
Well done, guys. That's the chicken/pesto recipe, right? I tried it once too (very tasty), and as I recall it's rather involved, at least for someone more accustomed to opening a can the way I've been doing lately.
Yup, with the tomatoes. It's definitely more involved than we're used to doing, but we both love cooking in the summer, since there's actually time! We cut a few corners (used garlic and basil from a jar, skipped the pumpkin seeds), but it turned out well regardless.
I think the tomatoes make it. They add just the right note of freshness and sweetness.
I think the tomatoes were my favorite part. Although they tasted great, they looked so sad and wrinkled!
