I admire zen. Probably because I'm NOT.
I am a giddy, flirty, loveable drunk, the life of the party! But sober, I am the opposite of zen, lol!
If "the opposite of zen" starts with a B, then I am too.
Hmmm, I maybe zen...I don't know, no ones ever told me if I am or not lol.
If by "zen" you mean living in the moment, I think Adam does that more than most people. He also seems to have an angsty side - as in TV auditions giving him "panic attacks" - but that doesn't seem to dominate.
Ashley, I'm so glad you're enjoying the Rent madness from afar. Any chance of seeing the show in the next few weeks?
I'm so not a zen person, but my mom has recently given me that nickname. She calls me Zen. I don't really know why.

The BWW video made me dizzily happy. Adam Pascal and his drunkenness good will are contagious.
All of the London pictures were released with inexpertly rendered super saturation, which makes them look like the cartoon versions of Mark and Roger. It also unflatteringly spotlights every single error in their complexion. Isn't that what cakey stage makeup is for?
AW! I love those London shots! They have kind of a Technicolor look to them, which, granted, makes NO sense...but they make Adam's lips look even MORE red (if that's possible).
You're so right. It's like something out of a '50s cinemascope extravaganza. Adam really knows how to furrow a brow, doesn't he?
He furrows mine constantly.
Didn't anyone tell him that would lead to premature wrinkles?
I'm sure if someone told him, he would stop for the sake of vanity.
I'm seeing Rent tomorrow and I'm getting excited. That said, I may have an extra ticket, so if anyone's interested, please let me know. My friend ordered too many. She's going to tell me if we're still selling it and the exact location later. It's up in the front mezz.
I have been listening to POTO and trying hard to picture Adam. There are points that I feel confident that it would work, but at other times, I dunno. I would love to hear those audition tapes!!!! But I don't think the POTO audience could handle the screaming Adam fangirls!
I think Adam would be an interesting choice for POTO. They wanted a more "rock sound" for the movie, and look what they got. On second thought, DON'T.
But it would be a pretty bold move to put Adam into the live show...although it would sure get me to see it again.
When I first started getting into Adam, my mom was convinced that she had seen Adam play the Phantom on tour. I've always laughed at her for that, saying it's something Adam would never do. I still can't see it.
Adam is unfamthomable sometimes - won't go near Jesus Christ Superstar, but wants to be the Phantom.
I don't think he would have auditioned if he wasn't confident about it. He did a great job with the Emcee, and I'm sure people wrinkled their brows when that was announced. Can't say he's not ambitious, lol! Who knows, maybe it could be an option further down the line, if this chaos doesn't turn the POTO people way off!
Broadway.com just posted photos from opening night. Lots of pictures of Adam and not so many of Anthony. There's also a picture of what appears to be the stage door, with tons of fans swarming it. Looks like it was pretty crazy, kinda glad I wasn't there.

LOL!
I was just gonna say, "Is it too soon to talk about Adam's ROCK ON gesture in #24?"
'Salright Adam. Keep up the quirks. I still want you.
I was just about to post that one!

It's just hilarious because it's NOT the rock on gesture! I love it.
Awesome, more pictures! They both look really good.
Well yeah, that too!
