I'm rather curious about something; so you know on the other theatre site that must not be named there's a section of photos that featured on the set exclusive of Temptation. Does anyone have any of these pictures saved by any chance?
Hello!!!
I was here I think back in thread 6. I have been gone for quite some time. I believe I provided ice-cream for every-one at some point. Oh and by the way, How's it going. Miss You all.
Welcome back 25th Annual Speller!
Other theatre site that shall not be named? What?
The only pictures I've seen from Temptation were on their official site, which I think someone said is no longer around. I've got those and can post them later if anyone's interested.
Yassmin was in the Rent scene. She's most noticable at the very end of the song, when all the people are swarming around Benny and she's right in front of him. She's wearing a brown sweater.
I was refering to the other broadway site, but I'm not sure if you can say the name of it without getting this thread deleted
I'm kind of mad at said site too; they changed alot of the search items and I can't find any older videos that I just watched over the weekend. Tis rather annoying.
I have no idea what any-one is talking about. That is what I get for Not getting on.

I have the temptation pics from a-p.com but those are the only ones that I know of....
There are some old ones back when Temptation actually had a site. I can't find where I saved them, but hopefully Chloe will have better luck.
I don't think anyone minds a mention of Broadway.com, brina. It's certainly been brought up here a number of times in the past.
I'll go look for my pix. I'm so disorganized it's a wonder I ever find what I'm looking for.
ETA: Well, I did manage to find a couple -

This one's even stranger. There's a reason this movie wasn't released.

The reason that movie wasn't released was to make me unhappy.

I second that. There have been some wacky ass movies released in the past. Some have even been nominated for Oscars

misschung, I believe the response from the screening(s?) was so poor that they knew it wouldn't be profitable to release it. I still think that releasing it straight to DVD might prove somewhat profitable (not profitable in the sense that they'd make back their investments, but they'd get something back), especially given the fanbases of Adam and Cerveris, and to a much lesser extent, Ripley and Pope. Since the movie is essentially a sunk cost at this point, I can't imagine releasing it with minimal official publicity would prove a bad idea. However, the amount of money anyone could actually make from that sort of release is probably so minimal that no one has bothered (and probably never will).

Or at least show it on tv once so that we can all tivo it!

Unfortunately, I don't think any TV station is scrounging through awful indie films starring Broadway actors in hopes of finding programming.
Any websites can be mentioned except for one which is posted at the top of the OT board. I didn't even know which website you were talking about Chloe figured it out.

Zoe Saldana is the only person in the cast of Temptation who gets mainstream film roles. So, the only way it could concievably get a (straight to DVD) release is if she lucks into a career defining starring role in a giant blockbuster film, or receives an Oscar nomination.
I'm not really optimistic.
Ok, I wasn't sure if Broadway.com could be mentioned or not, but I guess you can I'm really curious about what they did with those behind the set photos. If you type in 'Adam Pascal' in the search engine its one of the last Photo Op.'s that show up. I wonder if the film distributors made them take it down after they knew it was going to be a flop? But you'd think that they would get ride of the entire section if there were no photos to show...hmmm...
*Craww, I love your new picture; yeah Wild Party!

It's opening night!! Dress rehearsal went really well last night. I think we're all ready. At this point, I'm more nervous about the snow storm outside! I've heard numerous snow plows already this morning, and it's still snowing and blowing.
Good luck tonight Allie!
Break a leg!!!!!!
Good luck, Allie! I hope the snow slows down for you.
I hope all goes well, break a leg!
