I attempted to listen, but I was also looking up other things at the same time so I zoned out. It seemed at least a few months old, and if you ask me Anthony seemed slightly irritated with some of the questions being asked. I stopped listening when the matter of age in regards to being in the Rent movie came up. People just need to let it go! Chloe, I wouldn't bother trying to load it.

His response to the age argument is essentially that you can't be "committed to your cynicism" and connect with the show. Anyway, yeah. He seems (typically) annoyed with the interviewers, which is basically the only entertaining part for me.

One of my close friends, a very emotional guy, saw the movie knowing nothing about the show. He really loved it and was quite moved. I asked him if it felt like the actors were too old, and he said that the story transcended that.

Tomorrow morning! I'm seeing several shows, including Rent on Saturday, with a friend before she goes back to college.
I'm short, so I tend to get shoved around in mob scenes. My friend is taller and less intimidated by mobs, so I suppose we'll be out there.

I know a lot of people here have seen the show in the last few days - haven't any of you gotten back to your computers yet? ::taps foot impatiently::
Meanwhile, here's another nice pic. Some fans have understandably been upset when he doesn't come out to sign, but considering that instead of resting between shows he's been working on his new CD, I'm surprised he comes out at all.

Someone wrote something about Adam not coming out of the stagedoor on the outside of the Nederlander where all the graffiti is. It says "Thanks for leaving your fans hanging!" or something to that effect. Pretty sad.

I wish people would realize that actor's are not obligated to come out and greet the fans. They may have errands to run, things to do, go home to their families, whatever. A fan should always remember that an actor is human, and should have ever right to as he/she pleases. Doesn't it bother anyone else that alot of the people who are stage-dooring automatically expect that Adam and Anthony will come out and sign things?

brina, you just wrote my exact thoughts! I feel like people expect so much of both Adam and Anthony that it's just not fair to the two of them. Dealing with a crowd of that size night after night has to be really difficult, and probably very exhausting. I wouldn't want to do it!

Hi everyone, I have never posted in this thread before, but here goes. I saw Rent last night (8/16) and ...holy cow. That boy can sing, and is quite beautiful. At the end of Another Day, I turned to my niece and said that I wanted to live that moment of my life again. Other standout moments: when Roger invited Mimi to dinner (I loved how his voice was very soft and gentle when talking to Mimi, and then blow you back in your seat powerful when he turned to the dealer), the "all your words are nice Mimi...."line during Goodbye Love, and Happy New Year.
I am so happy that I got the chance to see this talented man in the role put him on the map. It is my opinion that he was born for musical theater. He conveys emotion through song better than just about anyone out there.
