I am definitely going through RENT/Adam withdrawals out here. However, walking down the strip last night, we were behind two girls talking about "those two old guys who came back to RENT". I thought about "accidentally" knocking into them, but the alcohol hadn't kicked in yet.

Obviously neither one of those girls had seen recent pictures of "those two old guys." Sometimes it's just not worth it to try to correct people. I had to listen to two girls (maybe it was the same two?) at Rent last year debate during Goodbye Love if the guy playing Roger was the same guy from the movie. One even said "it HAS to be, I mean they have the same hair!"

Tink, why aren't you getting drunk at the pool?

Since he's been so strong vocally prior to this, that could be an indication. Maybe working on the CD during the day is catching up with him. I hope it's nothing serious.

I'm agreeing with Robin that it could be that. I feel awful for they guy playing Roger tonight, I don't want him to have people yell bloody murder at him; he didn't do anything wrong.

And personally, I think it's RIDICULOUS (sp?) that some are crying over this. Come on people, it's live theatre. Anything can happen. They should always remember (man I'm repeating myself alot tonight aren't I? ) if you're planning to see a show solely based on just seeing a said performer; at anytime an understudy/standby could go on.

Well I'm going to watch Seven Brides for Seven Brother's with my ailing mother (she's got the flu); so I'll be ditching this popsicle stand. Toodles~

If they're hostile to anyone, it would probably be Adam, especially with all the sh*t people are giving him lately about the stage door. I'd be disappointed too, and I understand it even more if people came from across the country to see this one show. (For all we know, his family could be here this week..he was buying super soakers. If not, I hope everything's alright too.)

Ok..so there’s not too much new to say about the show at this point, but a few things really stood out to me.

Goodbye Love- For some reason, I don’t remember watching this the first time. It’s like it was all a blur. Adam’s face actually scared me last night, and I felt like he was just gonna snap by “Who’s with his camera alone”.

The “I’m Roger” dance last night was cute, too. They seem to change it up and have a lot of fun with it.

I feel like sometimes Adam and Tamyra’s exchanges were really genuine, and other times it felt very acted and brief. I noticed that right before Finale B, when they were hugging, Tamyra was stroking the back of his neck and had this really sincere smile. It was very sweet.

I still can’t get myself to like Nicolette’s Maureen, and Troy’s line delivery continues to bother me. (I did love his ICY R last night.)

The biggest change I noticed was probably due to the difference in my seats. Being close, you could really see everyone’s expressions. You can see how much more believable his acting’s become. His face looked pained, and reluctant, and scared at the right moments.

I went with my cousin who saw Aida with my before it closed. She loves picking fun that I have “Broadway crushes”. It only took her two glasses of wine and Adam being on stage for about 30 seconds for her to lean over and go "THAT’S him? Mmm"

Me too, brina. Thanks for the review, Jenna. I felt like being in the center of the orchestra was really perfect. I could get the whole picture but was still was close enough. Off to the side, even though I was really close, I didn't feel as involved.

That's good, at least everyone got to see Anthony, that's still pretty cool in my humble opinion How was Kyle tonight?
