Adam and Merle should do a song together. A song that makes its way into a lovely little online video. I'm on sleep deprivation right now, so I'll just basely say that it would be hot.

why do i keep accidentally posting the lascivious responses at the beginning of the page when I so like to hide these things at the end. unfair.

Yeah, it would be great if they did. I assume they must have done some performances of Aida together, which would have been interesting to see.

I just looked it up on IBDb, and it said she was with one of the tours, but also played Aida for three performances on Broadway. Didn't say when, but she wrote something about reuniting with Adam when she went back into Rent this time, so that's where I got the idea she performed with him.

I'm honestly considering re-arranging my plans because I know if I don't go, he'll sing some phenomenal song and I'll regret it. The whole... midnight/over 21 thing is just so appealing. I mean, it'll be the first NYC-area thing of Adam's that I miss in... literally, years -- so I'll live, but it sounds really fun. :/

I'm not going to be in town (I'm also not 21, but I'd at least attempt to lay on the flirt in hopes of getting in).

Jokes aside, is there a way someone could take a video (with something as small as a digital camera) of Adam's song(s) at the event? I'm also hoping for a Merle/Adam duet.

Someone's gotta YouTube it. Many of the Rent regulars go to literally every single event that current cast members are attached to. Crystal doesn't impress me at all and I don't know the first thing about Moeisha, so as long as I get a glimpse of Adam's song, I'm good.

I'm supposed to go home for the weekend, but it's not for anything important. I could easily go take care of what I need to another time. The bigger problem is that I need to be off my allergy medications for a couple of days, and although I can go back on them Thursday afternoon, there's a really strong chance that I'm going to feel absolutely awful on Thursday. It's not like I often let being sick stop me from enjoying stuff -- adrenaline does crazy things -- but I don't know. I guess I'll think about it. But I'd need someone to go with.

I doubt they'd even see it, and if there was a problem, the worst that could happen is that you'd be asked to put it away. Don't do something that you're not comfortable doing, but I know I, for one, would totally appreciate it.

My camera takes decent video, too. I also have a small digital camcorder, but they might not like that.

I'd love to go, but I think the last train is at 1:50 am. If they don't even start until 12 I doubt that will be enough time. hmmm.

I can see that, if the five performers do one or two numbers each. It's not like they're going to be up for staying up really late after doing a show.

Also, I wanted to mention that while I could very well be wrong, I'm not too familiar with any recordings of both Merle and Adam in Aida. There might be an audio out there, but I'm pretty certain that no video exists.
