Ha, Celestial Adam.

I'm pretty excited for the shows in May, mostly for the change of pace and the fact that it seems that we can all make an evening out of this. I know we had all thrown out songs that we would like to hear a few months ago, and I'm really very curious to see what he actually decides on. If he doesn't actually do Easy as Life I'll be very sad.

I have yet to listen or watch any of the new material. i don't know if I am in fear or just hoping that maybe it won't be so bad on the actual album. But then again if I forgave metallica for St. Anger, I can forgive Adam for this! The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14, version 2.0

I haven't been watching either - I guess maybe I want to be pleasantly surprised when I hear the album/performance live.
The morning star always gets wonderful bright the minute before it has to go --doesn't it?

There's only a few songs that I liked live, but I think that the new material will sound better on an actual recording. I still wonder if there's any upbeat songs on there, because I think that's why I was a little disappointed with the concert as a whole, not because he didn't sound good or anything.

And yay for the Broadway State of Mind show actually happening, even if it is two years later! Adam's shows always seem to fall during my finals week.

Sweedi makes me think of the Swedish Chef from The Muppets.

I have to agree about the concert- it just wasn't as upbeat as a concert should be. Although the songs aren't my favorite, I can't say that I necessarily disliked any of them, but it just seemed weird to go from happy between song banter to slow to mid-tempo songs.

Two interesting pieces of info:
"I probably will end up playing the Phantom at some point," Pascal told The Chronicle, "because that's a part that I really want to play."

What's in the cards next for Pascal? Between the occasional independent film, Broadway roles, touring with Edoff, and working on other solo projects, he says he'll be busy for a long time. Pascal also talked about the possibility of joining the touring production of "Rent" for 20 weeks with Rapp after the show ends its 12 year run on June 1.

"We're talking to the producers about doing that, and it may happen, and it may not," Pascal said with a laugh. Audiences won't be forgetting his name anytime soon.

I'm digging the thread out of the trenches of the second page to let you all know that there's a few videos from that TETA thing in Texas on the site that cannot be mentioned. I know Robin posted about Glory being up, but there's also an interview that includes an acoustic version of Radame's letter.
