hmmm, interesting. I'm still not used to finding info out first from the apm site, anywho -

"Hey- check out the new issue of Entertainment Weekly. There is a hot picture of Adam and Daphne on page 51. The title of the page is the "Ten things we love this week..." and Adam is #1!"

From TETA's website:

Adam Pascal, and TheatreFest 2008 invite all convention goers to a special performance on Saturday evening. Adam Pascal will be performing Saturday, January 26, at 7:00 PM, at an all-convention event called "An Acoustic Evening with Adam Pascal." Adam will be briefly interviewed by David Michaels of Actors' Fund, then perform a set of songs accompanying himself on the guitar. There will then be a brief Q&A session, followed by an autograph/photo opportunity for the attendees.

there also is a video him performing OSG from this evening on U-tube, looks like he was there w/o Larry.

Wait, in this week's EW? I'm so confused. ADAM is number 1? Why? You'd think maybe with Rent closing it would be the show and they just used his and Daphne's picture.

What's TETA?

Oy. Rent = Adam. Way to go, Adam Pascal Music posters. I'm sure you're really upset about "Adam's show" closing too. The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14, version 2.0

TETA stands for Texas Educational Theatre Association, and I imagine Adam didn't list it because it's a convention, not something open to the public. It seems like kind of an odd booking for him. I hope they paid well.

any exposure to possible new fans is always a good thing.

How are you feeling, Chloe?

I think we've already seen those dates given out by the venue, but it's nice to see them confirmed. It seems strange that they're isolated like that, but maybe there will be more to come soon.

When Broadway State of Mind was first mentioned last year was a tentative set list ever announced? I can't remember. This is the first thing Adam related I have been actually excited about since the Return was announced.

He threw around a few song names way, way back, so who knows if they're even still happening, but I remember him mentioning, in addition to Maybe This Time and Maria that we've already heard, an arrangement of Easy As Life, which I've been excited to hear from the minute it was first mentioned.

I'd heard the Easy as Life thing before but didn't know if it was BSoM material. I can think of a list of songs I'd like to that I think he can do, but I think he will really think outside of the box like he has been. But, Adam, doll, I like your arrangements of Maybe This Time & What I Did for Love, but can we get more male originated solo songs? The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14, version 2.0

I always figured it was because EAL was one of the few true solos in Aida. The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14, version 2.0

I want him to include I Don't Care Much. I've been hoping to hear him do that live again for so long.
