Well, their 32B bra fits me perfectly. I didn't have a problem with the workers bumping up my size when they measured me. I just think that their bras might be manufactured to a different standard, like when certain brands of jeans seem to run a little big to make the consumer feel better. Then again, cup size is based on the difference between the circumference of your boobs versus the under-bust circumference rather than the apparent size of your boobs themselves, so maybe they weren't too far off.

What an odd discussion! I didn't think that I'd be talking about calculating bra size on here, although I guess it's not too far removed from other womanly topics we've discussed.

Yeah, I went back in time and went for it.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me -- what they measure FITS, but it's only in their self-esteem raising Victoria's Secret universe. I guess it's not that weird, because it's like anything else that runs big or small. It happens with shoes all the time.

Yeah, that's it. If you get 5 inches to the "underbust" measurement get my band size, it's MORE than my boob measurement when compared. So I'm a negative cup? For god's sake, they're not CONCAVE. Maybe I just have a wide ribcage? I've had this issue since I got my first bra. It doesn't make sense.

For the record, I'm a 34B- because they fit. Not because some weird measurement standard told me so. They should come up with a better system that doesn't make me feel worse about my lack-of-boobs than I already do.
