Last year one of my best friend's room-mate would go partying almost every night and she would show up drunk and obnoxious at 3 in the morning and pass out in random places around the room. It's one of the few things I don't mind missing about the whole college experience.

Posted: 3/7/06 at 1:32pmWell, see, in some parts Sinclair DID tell it like it was, but others were probably a huge exageration. I mean, the son got eaten by rats! He did spend 7 weeks researching it, but it was fiction, so he could say whatever he wanted. He was very big on socialism, and the last few chapters just dissolved into his political agenda on why socialism is good and capitalism bad. The book caused a HUGE uproar when first published, and a lot of people refused to eat meat until all these food inspection laws were passed.

It's a good thing I checked this thread, otherwise I would have been clueless on what it was. (The Pure Food and Drug Act was passed because of it. I still got it wrong, because I had no idea what that Act was...haha Hey, it's only a practice one...and we HAD to answer all the questions.)

I e-mailed them and they said it's open to non-BU students if they go WITH a BU student who has a valid ID. But they're only letting in non-students after all BU students who want to go have gotten in, if there's still room.
