Playing colleges is a really good move in general. A lot of the Rent audience is that age, and even if a lot of the students at a school aren't into it, or have never heard of him, they're still going to consider going to a free or relatively cheap event on campus.

Who knows - maybe this list is just for the first leg of the tour. Or maybe it's relatively short because he'll be doing something else afterwards. Which I sure hope would be in NYC.

What I'm wondering now is if there are more potential dates beyond these, or whether there's a reason he's only touring for a short time.

Perhaps it has something to do wtih his family? I don't want to speak for him, I doubt he wants to be away from his family for months on end.

Yay for the people in the places that are not NYC that are getting to see Adam. I agree with what Chloe is saying about reaching out to the college audiences, and perhaps he was booked at those places because the movie did unusually well in those markets compared to the rest of the country or something.

I really don't know how I'm going to get through the next 48-ish hours without having a major meltdown. I need for it to be spring break already because I am completely fed up with everything.

Chloe, it's a great list. I suspect his representatation was very active at the NACA conference even if Adam didn't make it.

And I seem to recall reading an interview a while back where he said he wanted to do a college tour to promote Civilian. I wonder if this CD he's working on will be out soon, like in time for this tour?

He has taken some unattractive pictures. I wasn't a fan of the Aida pictures I saw, I didn't really find him attractive, otherwise I would've discovered Rent earlier.
