Hey Mel! Nice to see you on this thread.
yes, Adam is the lead. You can go to goyband.com for more info.
Hey
Thanks, I went to the site but I didn't really see the cast listed anywhere. That's so great for him though!
ETA: Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Ok, I know I am probably terribly terribly behind, but I am not on as often anymore and I can't keep up with all of you! ANyway, I'm here at my parents for Turkey Day and now that our 30 minutes of eating is over I'm wasting time online. I was just looking at the Mary Poppins opening night photos and was glad to see that Adam is still doing photo ops in the leather jacket. :) Brings me back to last year this time! Hope you're all having a good day!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone -
It's nice to see you again, Mel and JL.
The Goyband website seems to have been put together before casting was finished, and probably no one involved has had the time to update it since. I expect there will be a lot more information in a month or two.

*peeks in* I don't have anything relevant to say, but I thought, well, as long as I was logged on...
I have to say, Goyband sounds like it'll be hilarious.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you in the States.
What you said seems pretty relevant, Zyla. I hope everyone isn't starting to feel they have to have a big scoop or something profound to say in order to post.
I hope Goyband turns out to be fun.
Hey, Mel.
I hope everyone is enjoying their Thanksgiving.
Mine was ok, I guess. I ate a lot. Too much, in fact. :/
Eating too much is the whole idea. I've had way too many pieces of pumpkin pie.
I had burger king. :P Although I like having my thanksgiving in october, I get jealous because I don't get a break now. Although tomorrow I just get to play in class and make art projects. The class is actually called Play Experiences, ECE is proving to be lots of fun.
Hey everyone, just popping in to say Happy Thanksgiving (even though its over in 20 minutes!)
On a semi-Adam related note: Somehow after dinner my family got to discussing different shows and I found out that my uncle saw the OBC of Rent in '96. When I asked him what he thought, he said he didn't remember anything but some moody blonde guy running around yelling at everyone. :) (I thought, well, at least he made an impression)
I remember reading somewhere that it was expected to be PG or PG-13?

The director said on the set that they were aiming for PG-13.
And GuitarGirl, I absolutely love Tim Howar. I think his acting leaves something to be desired, but his voice just blows me away. I went back to Rent for a second time within two months especially to see him and Chris Hanke again. I'll be sad when they leave.

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Mine was quiet, but also restful. Unfortunately it's back to work for today and tomorrow.

We had 25 people over for Thanksgiving. I think family get togethers are so awkward, especially if you barely ever see most of the family that's coming over.
Is this new movie planned to be released in theaters or direct to DVD??
From what I've read, it sounds like the producers are aiming for a theatrical release. They plan to show it at festivals, which could mean either that they're looking for a distributor or looking for a little pre-release buzz.
If they're successful, it could be some good exposure for Adam and the movie. We'll see...
I'm with you Katt. Family reunions can be beyond uncomfortable. I managed to ask my cousin how college was (he'd just dropped out) and how his girlfriend was (they just broke up).
You all are making me feel much better about spending the day alone. I had planned to visit friends, but last minute work obligations forced me to cancel the trip. Actually, I didn't mind being home at all.
Ariella, how awful. The most innocent question can turn into a loaded gun.
Hiii.
In all the excitement, I feel like I've just fallen way out of touch here! :)
I was with 18 members of my extended family on Thanksgiving. I'm close to them, so it wasn't that bad, but we're on awkward speaking terms with my one grandma, so we spent the entire day avoiding getting caught one-on-one with her. My cousin screwed up the pumpkin pie, which is usually my favorite part.
I'm flying back to school tonight. THAT is what I'm most thankful for.

I kept telling myself that I was going to do these two papers over the weekend, and I've barely started. Being anxious about having no real idea what I'm doing is just making the entire process harder. I can't wait until this semester is done, and I can finally take a few classes that I will hopefully enjoy.
I'm back at school now. I have so much work to do, but my head is just not in it after the time off.
Skittles, I got a pumpkin pie from Whole Foods. It was really good, and I recommend it if there's one around and you want to make up for your cousin's version.
Back to school, back to work - ugh! Good luck with getting your homework done.
The dog ate the pumpkin pie for us... but it seemed a bit iffy anyway because my aunt ran out of the canned pumpkin stuff and added zucchini to fill it out.
This semester really needs to end. Doubtless the teachers will try to make the last 3 weeks as hellish as possible. I've stalled out a big paper, too, Lexi. I hope you can sort yours out.
