*hugs Mandi*
Wow, having finally caught up on the last few pages of the thread, I'm realizing that my post was probably so insensitive! I definitely apologize for that, and I know that it can seem cliquish at times (I was so intimidated when I started posting here, and even more so on the Raul thread). I've felt shut out of threads before for not being in the know, so I know the feeling. Maybe it would help if we tried to avoid referencing non-Adam related things on the thread?
On another note, hi, Allie!
Jeez! I'm gone for a night and that's when you guys have huge discussions and I miss out on them.
You all must plan this or something...*moves eyes suspiciously*
If it were planned, siamese dream wouldn't have been out all day when she was the main topic of discussion.
The drama ("why wasn't *I* told about this scene, I emailed them too! *whines*") is going on in Adam's MySpace comments. It's unfortunate; he wasn't the one in charge of recruiting extras. I'm pretty sure the Goyband team emailed the people who had *originally* emailed them about being an extra for this- before the bulletin was posted about the theater scene on Adam's MySpace. Lexi posted the Goyband website weeks ago and they had the email address and notice that said if you were interested in extra work, to contact them. Some people took the initiative, most didn't. So to blame Adam, or the Goyband production team, or the other extras for not breeching contract and leaking the shoot info is ridiculous.
Out of nothing but sheer curiousity, I do wonder how they narrowed it down to ten people, or whatever -- it seems an unenviable task to sift through what was probably way more emails than they bargained for. I wonder if they didn't just look for college e-mail addresses as indicators of age bracket or something!
But yeah, whiney MySpace comments are duuuumb.
Myspace... it's a good source of amusement, you have to admit.
Drama here is nothing compared to IMDb or other places, though. At least here people don't fake their own deaths when they get mad.
Adam's Myspace never fails to amuse me.
It's funny that most people who don't know who Adam is usually are surprised at the response of his fans or the turnout at his concerts. I guess that's the good thing about a small, dedicated fandom though.

They get very *excited.* It's amazing to me how they post their whines and complaints and think that he will actually reply and grant their wish.
That's why I hate to post anything on Adam's myspace, those people can be scary! I know the feeling too sweetestsiren, sometimes it's extremely difficult to get into the conversation; especially if your new...it sucks to be new on a message bored (my whining fest for the day is now complete!)
uggg...(corrects spelling) B-O-A-R-D, BOARD. There! :-P
*waves to Allie*
Gosh, the book! I've missed it!
You know what I really, REALLY miss? The old Raul thread. I would always end up grinning like a complete and total idiot.
brina, you can actually edit out your messages so it's as though the mistake never happened :P. Just click on edit message instead of reply to.

I can't take Myspace seriously. People apparently think that Adam or whoever they are making dumb comments to are checking them all them time, when in reality they never even see the page. But to each his own.
Katt, it's good to see you again too. It seems the holidays are bringing a lot of posters back here - or maybe it's a subconscious memory of all the excitement from Rent last year at this time. Anyway, I'm glad you're all back.
Adam did admit to reading his Myspace comments more lately, but I doubt very much he has the time right now.
Guuuuys, comment back!!

It is weird that around this time last year we were so excited about seeing the Rent movie. It seems like such a long time ago now. A lot has happened since then I guess.
I guess that's why there's been so much nostalgia lately. How are you and what have you been up to?

I'm pretty good...busy with swimming, horseback riding, volunteering for various things, just typical highschool stuff :)
What about you?
I've had a patchy year, but am very busy at the moment. It's too bad that my work often gets very demanding around the holidays.
You're just fitting in with the rest of us with assignments and finals.
I never thought of it like that, but you're right. At least I'll get to have a Thanksgiving, though Christmas is still up for grabs.
Good night, guys!
I wish I had a holiday coming up. It's such a long stretch from my thanksgiving until christmas.
Night Chloe.
Heh, two of my roommates are from Canada and we just celebrated their Thanksgiving with them. I loved it up there. As much as I love the holidays, I hate the stress of finals and piling deadlines.

I'll try that next time I make an error CandadianSnowbird, thank you, oh, and good morning!
Finals are never enjoyable. Most of my teachers are recommending that we study over Thanksgiving break... not like that's gonna happen. I'm going to Oregon, and there's no way I'm bringing all my books.
Wow, it was almost a year ago that Rent came out. That was quite a day. I saw it twice just that one day.
Have a great break everyone!
I was in London when the Rent movie came out. I also remember being so upset when I found out that I was going to be gone. I was so excited for the movie and I had to wait about 2 extra weeks before I saw it.
