Heh, and I want to avoid interviews like the plague. Thankfully it seems no self-respecting actor would sit down for an interview with a professional critic. So my interview days are probably long over after I graduate.
It's certainly a bad time for work (even from a lowly highschool perspective). The papers have certainly piled up, and all the works cited so tedious. I'm also very interested in journalism (maybe we all have more in common than Adam), but writing papers on things I have no interest in is so frustrating. I'm sure the discipline is good and all, but still. Break seems so far away with exams and final papers standing in the way.
I second every single one of the complaints. Writing paper after paper with cramps is no fun.
I had an injury in my left wrist last semester at this time from writing paper after paper. I think I'm developing the same injury again in my right wrist.

I'm sorry, Emcee. Tendonitis can certainly be frustrating and painful.
One page left of this paper and one more paper tomorrow.

The movie website has been updated ("cast" and "stills"). Is it really so hard to spell "Roger"?
One, among many, interesting quotes:
"Cris plays an 'out'-ish orthodox Jewish man who teaches Bobby Starr to dance with a little Jewish klezmer flavor."
This movie scares me.
IMDB has the cast list now. Adam is listed as "rumored."

I'm going to be a silly fangirl and hold out hope for the movie. I found the blog of someone who's working on the film, and he said that he thinks the footage looks great. I have no doubt that it's going to be silly and not exactly a critic-pleaser, but hopefully it won't be actually bad and just awesomely bad instead.
And I can promise you that Adam is not just rumored to be in the movie.
You know, I think as long as the film is able to embrace what it is and NOT push itself as something serious, it'll be alright. It's all about how it perceives and promotes itself, I think.

Exactly. It's like "One Night in Bangkok;" as long as it doesn't take itself too seriously, it's all good. (Hopefully!)
I'm a Journalism/PR major too, Ariella.
I just hope that we're able to see the movie at all. I don't think it looks *that* bad and has the potential to be a funny romantic comedy.(There's a few new stills on the Goyband site too but only one with Adam.)
Edit: I reread what I wrote last night, and it barely made sense. I'll blame lack of sleep and sanity.

Maybe if the movie can aspire to some sort of cult status it would be okay. It's difficult to imagine what sort of following it would have (other than devoted fangirls and very ethnic Jewish people - like my grandparents), but hey. Sadly, hip-hop Fiddler on the Roof or whatever it's described as is scarcely mainstream.
I wouldn't take that description too seriously. It sounds to me very much like a romantic comedy with a twist, which is the ethnic backdrop and boyband past, but I doubt if it's "about" those things. They're the flavoring, not the main dish.
This is so cool, I didn't know alot of people on this board are either majoring/into journalism writing! I thought I was one of the only ones, guess not
I'm interested in to journalism too

I'm a former journalism student! Do I count?
I'd defiantly say that you fit in the minority
Wow! I guess I'm pretty much the only person on this board who's NOT into journalism.

Ok..i'm in my english honors class watching ET. Personally, it [ET] scares me. Whatever, it's better than reading/writing something. I get to go on bww.com.
I was just discussing my courses for next year, i'm thinking of taking a journalism class.
I need to actually take a journalism class. I applied for one, but hell if I get in. Speaking of journalism, I am going to stab my editorial staff. I'm sad and they're murderers.
I freaking looooooove ET.

ET the movie, or ET the "entertainment news" show?
I thought she meant the movie.

So, they're apparently shooting the scene literally the day after I leave for home. Again, I realize I have absolutely no right to complain, but I'm bummed out. I'm pretty sure my parents would laugh in my face if I were to suggest changing the reservations. I hope some of you can go and give a full report, though.
Considering there hasn't been a blog post about it, I'm not sure if this information is supposed to be public, so I'm hesitant to post the details here. They apparently need a headcount in advance, so posting the information here would kind of defeat the purpose of the email. If you're interested, please email the Goyband team at goyband@gmail.com rather than asking me to post details.

I just got an e-mail from them.
I'm going to spend way too much time trying to decide on a photo to send them. Honestly, my senior pictures are some of the only good photos I've taken in a while, and I'm NOT sending them a photo of me and Adam.
I'm sure some of you have already seen it, but there was a MySpace bulletin posted with the same information that was in the e-mail sent out earlier.
A new blog was posted on Adam's page as well.

How many from the thread will be going? I want to hear from each and every one of you, since no one's experience will be exactly the same.
I'm sending them an e-mail right now. Heh. Deciding on a photo...
