I hadn't seen the first half the first time it aired. I liked it, cheesy writing aside.
Poor Adam. My family picked on him the whole hour.
Yeah, for some reason the cheesy writing went down much easier this time. Your family should obviously have been in another room watching the (supposedly) awful Grease show.
Hubby was poking fun too while we watched!
Tell him you think it's very sweet of him to be so jealous, Tink.
haha, he just started to get into the Cold Case series, but I never watch it. So all day today I'm like "don't forget to record Cold Case tonight" and he got all confused. He found out why, and he's like "Your broadway men are even infiltrating my TV shows, what is this? Can I escape this man anywhere??" It was cute.

I tried watching both Cold Case and the Grease show... neither one was very popular with my family. but my brother certainly loved the "What was I thinking?!" line. As do I, haha.
Hey Allie - how did your rehearsal go? I hope the atmosphere was better than all the backstage drama going on during Cold Case.

I may be in way over my head here, Chloe! We did a read-through tonight. The guy playing Sid has grey hair, and is quite clearly old enough to be my father. There's a LOT more affection in this show than I thought, and my pet name for him is lover. It could get interesting. But I'm really excited to get singing!
So you have some love scenes to do? I'm unfamiliar with the show, unfortunately. I guess this will really put your acting skills to the test. I take it this is a local theater group putting on the show?

There aren't any "love scenes", but lots of kissing, and LOTS of flirting. And one scene in which I take off my dress and walk around in my slip. Should be a good time.
I know the music really well, but not so much with the rest. The read-through was pretty... interesting. But from now on, most of the rehearsals are broken into small sections, so it's not like the whole cast will be there when we first get into it.
It was sort of funny, though, when I came home and told my mother about it. I'd never laid eyes on the guy playing Sid before, but my mom was like, "Uh, yeah, I think I know him. He's a LOT older than you!" Then she did the "I'm-not-sure-I-approve" look. Heh.
Yup, it's a local group. My sister told me they would all hate me, because it's the first time I've ever auditioned for them, and then they gave me the female lead. But everyone's really nice! Just older!
Anyway, I'm off to bed now, I think. 'Night, Chloe (and all)!

Well, it's wonderful that you got the part, and I hope you have a good time with it all, despite having an older leading man. That's really the norm these days, especially in movies, where all the male icons in their forties and fifties get twenty-something leading ladies.
I'm making an early night of it -
I'm glad to hear that the people were really nice, Allie! I hope "interesting" is a good thing... Keep us posted!
Definatly keep us posted Allie!
SO..how was everyones day?
I guess everyone else was as tired as I was, jkfan.
Adam's myspace has just posted another show in New Jersey, at Rowan University in Glassboro on February 8. I couldn't find any other details except that it appears to be part of a music festival so is probably open to the public.
Also, there's now a show at Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio. You can find most of the details on adam-pascal.com.

School resumed today, as did all the homework.
For something I was doing a while ago, I changed the bullet points on my computer to be a picture of Adam. Today my mom tried to type up something for work, up popped Adam, and she couldn't figure out how to change it back.
Keep giving us updates, Allie. It sounds awesome. As for onstage "activities," your mom sounds just like mine.
I just had a final tonight for my gym class. I know it sounds a little weird, but it's basically a dance class and we all have to make up our own dance at the end of the semester and perform it. Anyway, I have 1 final tomorrow, 2 finals wednesday and 2 finals on thursday. I have to study right now, but what am I actually doing? Oh yeah, procrastinating around here! Sorry, just had to vent!
Allie, sounds like you're going to have fun!
As much as I hate the work, I've been out of school for three weeks and going crazy with boredom. Classes start Wednesday, but as they're my first class of the course, we won't really be doing much in them.
It's the same with my work, Sarah. All or nothing is harder to deal with than a regular schedule, I think.
adam-pascal.com has posted quite a bit of new info recently, including these quotes from Christa McNamee, one of Goyband's producer/writers:
I have to say, Adam is both an amazing actor/singer/dancer and a completely delicious person to work with. He has the best personality ever. Adam is both hard working and gracious - a real dream to have on a set. We want to put him in every film we make, forever!
And also:
Adam's fans have been amazing! Many of them came to the set and were extras in the film, and I had one fan fill in on the crew as a production assistant. Also, I have hundreds of emails from Adam's fans that wanted to come and be extras, but couldn't make it on the days that we shot the scenes.
In addition, Adam's work is amazing and he was so wonderful to work with - an absolute dream, a pro, and the nicest actor. Since his first day of work, I have told everyone about how great it is to work with him. I would work with Adam again in a heartbeat!
I don't know where these were originally posted and have submitted a comment asking about that. It's nice to know she's so enthusiastic about Adam and the fans she's dealt with (including some of you, no doubt.)

*dies laughing*
Maybe this particular fan should stop lying about how it was *such* a coincidence that she just happened to be working on the movie. She keeps denying that she's a fangirl, but apparently, she's the only one that believes it.

Wouldn't we all.
Indeed. So, it turns out that the first quote was posted on the a-p.com guestbook and the second was an email in reply to the webmaster.
My 2-year BWW anniversary was Monday, but I just realized it a few minutes ago. I'd like to take the time to thank the people of this thread in particular for helping contribute to countless wasted hours over the past two years posting about such important topics as Adam's bad hair, Adam's bad clothes and Adam's perplexing career decisions. I look forward to much more procrastination with you all in the future.
Congratulations, skittles. The combined wasted hours on this thread would probably be enough to run a small country, but who's counting?
Cheers, Skittles. Here's to many more.
Yaay skittles. I don't say often enough how glad I am to have you here and that we've become such good friends. I don't know what I'd do without you. To much more fun in the future!
