I saw it. I didn't know Adam cooked! It seems so...strange. And I loved how Jesse was so enthusiastic. They should do more cooking shows together. :P
Coincidentally I just saw the Rent 10 version of Goodbye Love again, and it's really touching how Jesse just loses it when he sings "I can't believe you're going" to Adam.
Just a reminder - part 12 is approaching fast.
Oh, the "I can't believe you're going" thing gets me everytime...

what's part 12?
Threads are only allowed to be 5,000 posts long, so pretty soon we'll have to start the AP Love Thread, part twelve. However, when the first thread was started back in the summer of 2004, the limit was 25,000 posts. You can imagine what it was like waiting for it to load towards the end. The next two were 15,000 and 10,000 posts, as I recall, and then the 5,000 post limit was created.
I'm not even sure there was a limit at first; Rob would just come in and lock them if they were getting big enough to slow down significantly.
Right, those first few numbers were only approximate, and I think only one or two other threads had reached 25,000 posts before ours did.
That thing was huuuuuge.
My God, that was so long ago.
i feel so proud to be part of the closing and opening of a new chapter.

Aren't we still... a few hundred posts away?
Lexi - All someone needs to do is post another never before seen Adam picture with some type of fashion no no, and those 100 posts will go in no time! =)

Part 12 is already approaching?
woah..
Three hundred posts may seem like a lot, but it's only 12 pages.

Chloe - when Jesse says "I cant believe you're going" is he really crying? I cant believe I missed that the first time. I just rewatched it tho, and it looks like Adam gets sad too. But I can't tell if he's just acting or not.
Remember when we used to go through threads in like two weeks? That was a little ridiculous. I joined in thread the beginning of the third thread, and we've moved through 9 since then.
There's no way of knowing for sure, but since Adam was actually moving to LA the next day, I believe Jesse was genuinely reacting to that fact.

oh my god! Now IM going to start to cry. I hate transition/nostalgia. ahh!
I just watched the 30 days of rent video for day 8. The hq footage makes me wish they sold the OBC show...
Hey Sarah - yeah, those threads just whizzed by.
That original Rent footage is from the press reel, I believe, so they didn't get the whole show that way, just certain numbers. If you go to the menu on the left and click on "Broadway" under "Shows & Tickets," you'll get a page with various shows. Click on "Rent" and you'll get a page about the show. On the right is a preview video that uses quite a bit of that show reel footage.
Edited because I skipped a step.

There's only 300 posts until this thread ends? Wow....
Adam would be proud.
It's around 90,000 posts overall - I'm not sure whether he'd be proud or alarmed.
I was able to watch the Oscars for a change, maybe because they didn't treat them like a combination of a Nobel Peace Prize, Medal of Honor and coronoation all rolled into one.

He just put in new alarms.
Ha! That line must have been in the back of my head when I wrote my previous post.
I'm pretty sure Jesse was really crying. Even though I'm sure he can act that, acting it would've been more controlled. It was heartbreaking.
That's why I love Jesse, he's like a big teddybear. I just want to hug him.
I was so nervous when I met him (when Rent was filming), because for some reason I thought he was going to be really scary and intimidating. But he is a big teddy bear.
