Whoa, the thread is almost over
What number of pages does this thread need to get in order to make a new thread?
200
Who's starting part 12?
It's around page 200, or 5000 posts. I wouldn't mind starting the new thread unless anyone has objections, or has been here longer and hasn't started one yet.
Thanks, Lexi - much appreciated. Let me know if you write up a more detailed recap. I heard Antonique was coming back, but I sort of hoped the dates wouldn't match up. Oh well.
It'll be fun to decorate a new thread. Now that I can actually post pictures and all.

I really don't care who starts the new thread, but I wouldn't mind starting it either. :)
Only a few more posts!
Ariella, I know! I can post pictures too Hmmm...I honestly don't care who starts it, but it'll be fun to see something new.
Previously, the decision was based on everyone's joining date, that way everyone had a fair chance of starting one.
Hah, the politics of the message board.
I just watched the Love Songs for the first time in a while. Adam deserves a shout-out for how hard he's trying not to grab his crotch during Seasons of Love.
Ahaha, yes! Bravo to him
I'm always so proud of him when he manages to control himself in that area.
(No dirty pun intended, for once.)

Somehow I just can't believe you :P
I haven't been in this thread in a while...
I need to get the Love Songs DVD. I had to give the other one back to the library. I'm just having a hard time finding it.
Siamese Dream, I saw Rent recently, too. Just yesterday, at the 2PM showing, actually. (It was a birthday present). I though Christopher J. Hanke was amazing. He was really funny. Jaime was great, too. Tim had improved since I last saw him in June. He was less angry. I don't know what happened to D'Monroe; last time he was fine but this time he was just...bad.
I hope Adam does something exciting soon. This time of year needs some livening up.

What's the love songs dvd?
also, can someone explain the picture on the first page of this thread of Adam kissing that girl...was that from a rehearsal?
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that picture of Adam kissing the girl on the first page is from a rehearsal for a Chess Benefit Concert. I believe the girls he's kissing is Julia Murney

You're right, Dancingqueen!
To answer your other question, misschung, the love songs DVD is from My Favorite Broadway:The Love Songs, which was a concert from 2001. I found my copy of the DVD at a Barnes and Noble, but it's on Amazon too.

It's a pretty angry, unattractive kiss, and her character pretty much despises his at that point in the show, so I'm not quite sure how lucky she is with regards to Adam.
It's one of my favourite parts of the show though, because there's so much going on in that moment.

Me too. Not necessarily the kiss itself, but I like the entire Budapest Is Rising sequence.
I just really loved Chess. I'm more of a fan of Nobody's Side, unless that's the same scene you're talking about. We labelled ours differently.

I suppose it could be considered one song, but Budapest Is Rising is usually considered the song starting with "you want to lose your only friend?" and Nobody's Side technically starts with the "what's going on around me" line. The former segues into the latter.
I combined the two into one song. "Budapest is Rising - Nobody's Side". There were so many different variations of tracks that I just guessed with most of it.
