The part I liked best in the blog thing is where they're talking about how he moved to Los Angeles after RENT in hopes that offers would pour in, but they didn't. Just the way it was worded made me laugh.
*I was too lazy to copy and paste the actual sentence in here. Oh wow, I must really be sick then.
Aw, that part made me sad, but I thought it was interesting that Adam, who's so attractive, felt intimidated by all the good-looking guy at auditions.
Sorry you're sick.

“If I didn’t have music in my life…'’ Pascal says, then pauses for thought. “If I was out here just trying to be an actor, I’d kill myself. It’s brutal."
That one was a little drastic. I hope he's not being serious - but then again it's impossible to imagine Adam without music.
Wow, it is almost his birthday. This fan of his (I haven't the faintest idea how she got my AIM screen name, by the way - I just started getting random messages out of the blue) told me she was going to bring in a cake to school on Wednesday reading "Happy B-day Adam." More power to her, I'm sure.

I'm not sure I completely understand the reasoning behind that quote, though. He knew the movie didn't fare well by the time he moved.
Liked the article, though.
That is a puzzler. Maybe they had gone too far in the moving process to back out. As I remember it, he mentioned his decision to move a long time before it actually happened. Also, having made the decision, he might have decided to chance it despite how Rent did.
I have a song from OK Go. Yay me.
Idina's actually said at concerts and in interviews and stuff that she didn't have many friends in high school, so it's funny Adam corroborated that.
It's kind of weird that they published it in advance if it's meant this Friday. I got confused for a minute there and wondered how long my afternoon nap actually was.
"Anything But Mute" would actually be a good name for a band. Then again, my band will be named Silver Snail Shredders, so what do I know.
I don't even know who OK Go are. ::sigh::
That's not the actual publication, skittles. The guy who wrote it posted it on his blog, with additional stuff that won't be in his newspaper article.
Silver Snail Shredders has the benefit of being totally unique. It also sounds both brutal and girly, a hard combination to achieve.

I keep trying to convince my friends to name our group "sprinkled tenderness" when we do group work.
That puzzled me too, Lexi. I mean, he obviously started CONSIDERING the move before the film came out, but it's not like he had to go after it flopped.
I wonder if the intimidation is purely on physical looks, though. Adam knows he's gorgeous; thing is that being gorgeous is a dime a dozen trait out there.
Yeah, that I'll defiantly ditto that. Sorry for randomly coming in on the conversation, but to Chloe (just for your fyi if you were curious): In my English class we are going to start reading the Bell Jar, and we need to do an analysis for the book; a part one and part two. Part one is currently driving me insane because we need to reasearch schizophrenia and bipolar disease; without using the book at all. That said, citing sources/parenthetical reference's is defiantly NOT my forte.

Good morning.
Emcee, your avatar is too cute!
Hehe, thanks. Mandi made it.
I like it too. We'll have some major decorating to do tomorrow, and I'm relying on everyone else because we all know I can't get a picture in to save my life.
Ok, I know this really isn't the proper thread for me to be posting on, but I wanted to ask you guys...what do you think of my avatar? I was going through some pictures of when I went to London last year and as I zoomed in on one of the pictures, this is what I found. It's an advertisement for La Boheme. I know it isn't really clear, but tell me what you think and let me know if I should change it.
Oh La Boheme, my favorite opera! Defiantly keep it, I think it's really nifty
Dancin- I like it. It's unique.
On Broadway.com, they posted Adam under their Happy Birthday section
So they did. I'd forgotten that he and Barbara Cook share a birthday. Ten or fifteen years ago I saw her do a New Year's show at Michael's Pub. She was absolutely sublime and brought tears to my eyes, and she's still singing at 70.
ETA: Actually, if I have her correct birth date, she's almost 80. It's astounding.

I'm writing that paper about Adam (I thought it was due Monday, but it's actually due tomorrow). It's so humiliating to actually type this knowing my professor is going to read it!

That's the paper about screaming fans, I take it? No need to be humiliated, I would think. It's a well-known cultural phenomenon and there's no reason why you shouldn't write about it.
Hey, maybe your professor will like it. We had to write a novella in Spanish last year, and you can bet Adam was fairly ubiquitous. My teacher actually liked mine - I went way overboard because it pertained to Adam.
It's funny how many people inform Adam it's his birthday on myspace. As if he didn't know.
They're all so clueless (the people on his myspace) (except for us of course)
I just found out that my little sister mad the pom squad at her junior high. Thank God, if she didn't make it, my house would probably be on fire right now!
I foresee Anthony's myspace exploding on Thursday.
Yeaaaah, heh.
And I think it's a good paper topic. :)
Oh wow, I just went to check in on this thread and freaked out when I didn't see it at first. I was thinking to myself, "It didn't get deleted..."
When is Adam a bad topic?
