Not that they can't work in terms of personality...just that, well...to put this bluntly...can you imagine "Mark" and "Maureen" having sex?
I think Maureen works with Maureen, and that's it.
I think Sarah nailed it right there
Well, my work here is done. I'm done with all the deep thoughts then. Fangirlling all the way now.

Pretty much. I really can't see Joanne being the type of person to keep letting Maureen cheat and act like she does forever. I think had the play shown longer than a year in their lives, Joanne would have dumped her.

Lol, I have always had a hard time seeing Maureen with Mark.

I've always wondered how they got together. I can't understand why someone like Maureen would go for someone like Mark. I love Mark, but it's still weird imagining them together, lol.

Insomnia strikes agian, so here I am, posting on BWW.
Jumping into the conversation...I've wondered about Maureen and Mark as well, but I seem to think they're more alike than a lot of other fans do. They're both obsessed with their art, both willing to jump onto a table in a crowded cafe in order to make a point.
Undoubtable proof that Jonathan Larson really was a great playwright - we're talking about his characters as if they are real people!

I wonder what attracted Maureen to Mark in the first place. Why of all people would she choose to be with someone who at first glance seems to be so completely different from her?

Yay, I'm not the only one awake at this hour!
Maybe Maureen, being, for lack of a better word, an attention whore, liked the idea of dating a filmmaker? Or...well, let's face it, who knows what she was thinking?
Out of curiosity, why are we talking about Mark and Maureen, even analyzing their relationship, on an Adam thread?
Should I post a picture to remind the thread of its presumed original purpose?

Hah, it's funny how little we actually talk about Adam on his own thread.

I guess we're just not completely obsessed.
Here's something for you guys to wake up to; I think it's pretty:
Morning! wow i'm up early
i like that picture
I had a really weird dream last night.
I was seeing this show that was CALLED Sweeney Todd, but it definitely wasn't Sweeney. It was... I can't really describe it. Weird. Adam was in it, but he was Cerveris' understudy, and then had some smaller part on a regular basis. Cary was in it too, apparently. Weeeeird. And the entire Rent movie cast came out the stage door, even though they weren't in the show. In my dream, apparently ADAM wrote a book, not Anthony, and I went to Strand to buy it, because I had to have it early, even though I was sort of like "what's Adam gonna write a book about?"
That's really weird. I've had dreams kind of like that. Sort of like compilation dreams.
I want to figure out what in hell it could possibly mean.
There's a teeny, tiny possibility of me seeing Adam tomorrow, and I can't say I'm not hoping, but I think by now if he were going to the thing I'll be at, someone would've told me. There'll be a lot of famous people, still.
What kind of a thing are you going to?
I PMed you.
hmm..Em that is a wierd dream.
Where's Chloe?
That is a wierd dream.
Indeed it is...O.o
Good morning.
I'm amused by the fact that I can't tell if my roommate slept here last night.
Hi, all!
I read the 1st half of Anthony's book last night, and then I wound up having all kinds of weird dreams like I was still reading but all kinds of bizarre things were happening. But in the part I really DID read, I was amused at Anthony's original description of Adam when he met him.
Haha so was I.
I read the 1st half before I went to bed also, but I just woke up really early. I think it was my bodies way of telling me "Keep reading"
