Who needs math anyway?
Don't answer that question.
Math and science will kill my chances of any college unless i study more. *gags*
the thing is I work so hard to get good grades in math, and I get a 78 and I literally start to cry because of how hard I try in that class.
I don't know if all high schools do this, but my school kept a list of colleges that members of the previous graduating class had applied to, the lowest average and SAT scores from our school that each college accepted, and the highest that they rejected. It helped people figure out what would be a reach and what would be a safety for them.
yeah..my sister has one of those, I should find it.
I think I 80-ish average will kill me...however, I'm still full IB Diploma. My friend's older brother was looming in the low 70's, but he was full IB and got a full scholarship to some school in Chicago. *shrug*

I am the biggest slacker. I don't really work hard.
Our whole math class cheats and my teacher doesn't even notice.
She noticed that these two girls had the EXACT same answers for their test, and she talked to one of them about it. She said "Well, yall got all the same answers, except for the bonus, I just don't understand" and the girl replies "Well, I did the bonus by myself!" And then she realized what she said and thought she was going to get in big trouble and the teacher didn't even notice. Neither one of them got in trouble. *Rolls eys*
Dramatic_Irony~ Haha, you wrote "*pot*", and for some reason I find that hysterically funny!
Billboard, my high school does that!
Mel, the U of CHicago is in Illinois. It's an excellent school, but it is also "Where Fun Goes to Die".
I just bought a pair of amazing earrings from Claire's. They are awesome!
Ok Grey's Anatomy is coming on. Don't start a new thread without me. I won't be gone too long. *Hopes Grey's Anatomy is really good tonight*

I cracked up at that too. I'm easily amused.
haha me too! I didn't want to say anything cause I thought you'd all think I was immature haha
well I definitely am not leaving New York, I get home sick.
It looks terrific tonight. I'm very excited. It's a great show.
Okay, download for the day. I'm skipping over Beneath a Velvet Sky for the moment and going to Magenta. It's rather strange, especially Adam's voice, and quite a bit shorter than the others. The lyrics are in a different vein too, not in what I think of as Adam's voice. So add another question to my fantasy interview - how much of the lyrics for Mute did you write?
Magenta
So much pain but still there's song
I'm your conscience, never wrong
I'm the hand that guides your eyes
Towards all you see
I'm your bitter enemy
I'm the mask that hides the pain
You feel inside but can't explain
I'm the air you breathe that leads
You where you don't know
I'm the lust out of control
I'm the drug that keeps you high
I'm your only alibi
I'm within your dreams
And you can't let go
No you can't let go

Heh, Katt, that reminds me of my idiot Chem teacher who didn't realize that half the class was cheating off of me (then again, I didn't realize it either until my best friend told me).
haha, our spanish class cheats. I literally compared every answer with another girl sitting across from me.
Thanks Chloe!
Grrr..cheating makes me angry. *goes on a rampage* Teachers are so thick sometimes.

Everyone discusses the answers to the math test during the math test.
Oh and people sing during our tests..
And randomly quote movies.
I wish I could cheat on math..my teachers a hard ass.
Thank you, Chloe! *downloads*

Heh, I'm the same way Mel. Almost everyone I knew thought I was crazy for not applying to UPenn or any of the Ivy League schools, but I knew I didn't want to go to a school outside of NYC and didn't see why I should waste my time applying to a school I wouldn't want to go to.
It bugged me so much in high school when people cheated. It's a slap in the face to everyone who actually knew the material or studied.
yeah, I have trouble on vacations because I like cry everyday because I just want to be home. It's kinda pathetic in a way hahaha. But I really want to go to a school in the city so thats probably the only places I'll apply to. I might apply to something upstate just incase.
I cheat, I'll admit it. Only cause I'm not smart enough. Don't hate me.

Heh, pot.
My technology teacher doesn't notice if we cheat. Math...I work my ass off just to get a 70. Lets face it- I don't understand Calculus at all.
It's sad how many times I've cried about math.
The guy that sits next to me in Drafting traces my drawings. The teacher honestly doesnt give a damn about anything, and the guy has no idea whats going on because he went to India for a month.
